Stena Line Ferrys Terminal 5

Love the trip, staff and ambiance.

This is our first ever family ferry trip for long journey and we had so amazing experience really worth it.

Was on a trip with Stena Plus first time (Holyhead-Dublin-Holyhead).. on the gate from Holyhead I never has been given priority, so I spend all the time without anything I paid for... different story on the way back. I need to move to Ireland.

Excellent. Our first time using this crossing. Surpassed our expectations. Friendly crew, all the usual stuff onboard; duty free, cafes, kids nursery, games room, bars, lounges and cabins. 2.5 hours flew by.

It's a ferry terminal where you sit in your car waiting to board. They also have a duty free container here. However you can get duty free on the ship.

Got downgraded as ship we were going on did not have premier asked for priority boarding as my husband is disabled and was told it was put on for us boarding it was not made to join normal queue and only nice part when we got on was one of the guys saw my husband struggling to walk and took us and put us in a lift. When we found a there was no toasted sandwiches and as we could not get a seat in the restaurant we ended up with a croissant and a cup of tea big difference to when we normally have a cooked breakfast as he is diabetic. Then I was verbally abussed by another passenger as we could not get to our car fast enough and was then accussed of holding them up even though he was driving off at the time. All I can say is that we gave premium for going home as this has made a very bad start to our holiday.

Plenty to do on the Ferry. Drinks are reasonably priced. 2 cinemas for the kids to choose from (great quiet place for adults to have an uninterrupted sleep). Also cabins available for the voyage

Found all staff very pleasant on both trips. On Ferries food in cafes very good. Toilets were a let down, some in a terrible state, not checked enough for the amount of passengers

Disappointed with Stena Plus. Compared to Irish Ferries, had to pay for breakfast, no bar and poor choice of snacks. On the plus side, comfortable lounger chairs and free papers. Will go Irish Ferries in future though as much better value.

Reasonably simple process and boarding. Ferry’s are good and the crossing has always been decent. Can be a little pricey but overall it’s a handy service and reasonably quick.
