Great bookstore on multi-floors and coffee shop.Huge book selection of pretty much all flavours.Very popular coffee shop being on the corner between Trafalgar Square and Charing Cross station (plus toilet).TBH it is recommended for the books but far less for the busy coffee shop and small toilet.

I’ve never met such a rude and vile clerk in my life. Not only she turned her back to me as I was still asking about a book, but she was passive aggressive during the interaction, until I said “you know what, I’ll just order the second book on Amazon” to stop being treated like a beggar. Not sure who she thinks she is but she should perhaps find another job if this frustrates her this much, and the only reason why I’d rather give money to Amazon instead is that there unlike hers their customer service is decent enough to treat paying customers with the dignity and respect they deserve. Oh and I left the book I was about to buy, as I had no desire to own her even one purchase. Tall, a with long hair in a braid, maybe in her twenties. Avoid her.

Nice bookstore and cafe. A great place to peruse while resting from sight-seeing! Buy an item to get a receipt with code to use the restroom.

I don’t think there is a book you can’t find there :) very helpful staff with huge knowledge about literature and willing to help with anything. We visited cafe also and the only thing that bothered me was the fact that tables were not cleaned after previous customers. Nevertheless- very good coffee. We’re coming back to that place every time we are in London.

Lovely atmosphere. Tea and cake overlooking Trafalgar Square. What is there not to like‽

The location is brilliant because you can escape the madness of trafalgar square. the cafe upstairs can be a little busy but they have a toilet up there (closes early some days so be aware) also it's not the nicest or cleanest toilet in the world... i really like this branch though, it's better than the strand for sure.

This is a UK version of an American Barnes and Noble bookstore and cafe. Well organized and clean with the convenient location right off of Trafalgar Square. The only negative thing i have to say is that there was only one employee servicing the cafe guests and there was a line of several people waiting to order drinks. The employee was very polite and did the best she could given that she is only one person.

This is a large branch of the Waterstones bookstore chain at Trafalgar Square in London. It has a very good selection of books of all genres and for all ages. It also offers a variety of other goods, such as magazines, stationery, small decorations and souvenirs, board games, etc. It is an excellent bookstore and certainly worth a visit when you are in the vicinity

This was great. I brought my 16 year old daughter here to buy some books. There's just something about being surrounded by loads of books. My daughter loved it and she can't wait to go back. We also met someone who who was also book shopping. They were able to give us feedback on a book we were interested in and also made some recommendations to us.
