Eartham Woods Car Park
Nice woodland walk. Accessible in part for more mobile disabled but beware of tree roots and normal woodland hazards. Not too busy even on a warm sunday during school holidays. Car park available and some pic nic tables. No toilets. We weren't unable to go too far due to the disabilities within our party but a great peaceful saunter for able bodied folk

Very peaceful with very easy access to a nice picnic table option. The woods themselves are very extensive and slope upwards gently.

Went for a walk in the woods. The woods are very large with lots of walks . Some of the paths are fairly steep. Lots of wildlife to be seen.

You want a walk in the woods? You want somewhere to park your car? Look no further! They have parking space, picnic tables, and wonderful woods to walk in. Even horses are welcome with a specific area for horseboxes. If you can keep the volume down when walking, also a decent chance of seeing deer! But please don't go. I want it all for me ;)

Gravel car park in forestry land. Has height barriers on entrance that have no sign to inform of time of day for locking, maybe they are not locked? Very popular with dog walkers. No parking charges, plus an area with open grassy pick nick station with wooden benches. Fantastic!

Nice afternoon walk through the woods - very peaceful & quiet (ever present rumble of traffic in the background, but that gets filtered out quite quickly) - could almost hear a pin drop.My walk turned into more of an expedition that I intended by virtue of getting lost, but thanks to friendly locals eventually found my way back.

If you carry a bike on roof rack then it is likely you won't get under the barrier (2.1m) so will have to park with the horse boxes. Some of the horse people think the area is exclusively theirs so expect the occasional discussion about parking rights!
