Dogs Friends

I adopted Charlie, a Cav x cocker from Dogsfriends, I just wanted to say I was really happy and would recommend this Charity.From the 1st viewing the staff and volunteers were helpful, knowledgeable, gave me great advice, made sure Charlie was the right fit for our family and we were right for Charlie! After a home and vet checks were approved, we brought him home and we would not be without him.Thank you for saving him.You all do an amazing job!!

What a amazing small rescue! They go above and beyond to help the animals in their care. I feel privileged to be able to adopt a dog via this charity

Wouldn't even give these people a one star but had to to leave a review. These so called 'charity' workers withheld my Dad's beloved beautiful dog even after finding out he was a stroke survivor and his story they still refused to help us as a grieving family to bring him home to my Dad. They treated us with no respect, shouted and turned the blame round on us. They even blocked me from their social media pages so I couldn't track more information on my Dad's doggie. Don't no how you people can even live with yourself! The saddest part to this story is someone from their charity contacted me a few weeks back to inform me Bailey my Dad's dog had died but for the whole 2 years I was trying to get these people to help us they just ignored all contact and refused to help. In that message they stated they wanted to give me closure, disgusting. Your charity has broken my Dad's and families heart.

I have adopted 2 dogs from Dogs Friends in the past, both were Staffordshire Bull terriers and were wonderful companions, sadly they are now passed over the Rainbow bridge, many of the dogs at Dogs Friends have had hard times in the past, please don't overlook these poor dogs as in my opinion they are the ones who appreciate your love and kindness the most, if you're unable to adopt then please consider making a donation to this worthy charity because without them many dogs would be PTS.

Brilliant for putting the animals first but they need a lot of funds to update rebuild amd continue in doing what they do best with great respect

I adopted my lovely JR who at the time was only 6 months old and a terrified pup and DF had no history on him, everyone was amazing and the staff were very understanding and all passionate about getting the dogs into the right homes. If I didn’t adopt my little jack no wonder where else he would’ve ended up so I’m grateful DF rescued him into their care and trusted me with taking him on, he is now a lovely boy and slowly getting there with trusting new people. I definitely would recommend people to Adopt a dog from here as the staff and volunteers all try so hard and do an amazing job, and the Adoption process and aftercare is amazing .

I've bought rescue dog from here they supplied me with the wrong details from day one. I was being pressured into recieving him on 1st meeting,he was covered in urine from his feet to his knees not well looked after, at all they charge twice as much as rspca,their derails for him were completely wrong,don't trust these people they are not what they seem ...

I was very impressed.A very important charity that does great work with rescuing vulnerable animals. Well done to all the staff/volunteers who are extremely busy yet devote their time to saving and caring for a wide range of animals.

My husband and I adopted our ģorgeous romanian rescue a few years ago, then another more recently from Dogsfriends. The process was smooth, and the staff were lovely. We were well informed about everything and knew what to expect with our new pooches. We couldn't have asked for a more brilliant experience with our furry additions to the family! Thank you
