The meat and related products in this shop are definately Top Drawer. I first bought my meat from them when they opened in the village and now I won't buy from any other butchers. Brilliant meat, excellent polite and knowledgeable friendly staff.

We held a fundraiser for our Dog rescue and we had almost everyone mention how lovely the burgers and sausage were that we served. Yes, they were from Tony Arber Butchers and in fact one supporter of our rescue is going to travel to buy the burgers... Yes they are that good. Sausages and sausage rolls top notch. Shame about the sirloin a bit of a gamble had a couple of ropey bits which is a shame. Luck of the draw I suppose? The wife did mention it the second time but got the answer that no one else had an issue!

Although the signage is still there they don't seem to be in forcing it, some back up to 5 as they should be.I've used this butchers a number of time and have been happy to give it 4/5 stars. So why the 2?Having cycled to the shop to get some ingredients I find that it is still inforcing stricked COVID rules, queue outside, face masks and only one costumer (or couple) at a time. As I had forgotten my mas, I do normally carry one, I decided to return home and drive to Dodington Hall.I accept it is your business and you can enforce what you want. But as the virus is endemic, as is flue which kills hundreds each year, it may be time to rethink your policy. Otherwise you will have to enforce it indefinitely as respiratory airborne viruses are here to stay.

Great little local butcher. Wonderful bacon, home made sausages and superb pork pies. I can very much recommend the Stilton topped pork pie :-)
