Great food and really lovely staff. A genuine old-style fish and chip shop. Terrific. One of the best thing is they wrap the fish and chips in paper!Would recommend.

Absolutely awful! Chips were almost 'measured out'. Old fashioned, non recyclable polystyrene packaging. Compared to other places we usual go, really poor value for money. In fairness, it could have been an 'off' night but we didn't enjoy the food or poor portions.

Fantastic service!We are staying in a cottage in a nearby village and were able to phone up with a big order and simply drive down to collect it. Staff very helpful. Chips, scraps and peas absolutely gorgeous. Wish I lived nearer to make this my local chippy! Fish could be a bit tastier according to my family but allround great experience.

Well, we’d always used the other F&C shop in the town but thought we’d try the traditional one. The queue outside was encouraging and the reviews.Big disappointment, chips good but the batter was only part cooked, inedible, back to Roosters I afraid.

Great chippy! I like the way they serve my fish and chips in paper the old fashioned way they taste better because they hold in the heat and keep them hot and soft. Totally dislike those boxes chips become dry and hard.Wish they were open all week.

Omg disgusting fish n chips. Batter not cooked as when i opened the fish you could see the flour(bought in product) £19.00 for 2. Never again. Nasty taste left in mouth

Staying at a local campsite. We phoned our order to collect. The lady in the shop was so friendly & polite. The food was absolutely gorgeous. I normally prefer Haddock to Cod but this Cod was delicious. I inhaled mine I around a minute!!!!

Best take away cod and chips i have had for years..huge portions might just order one between the 2 of us next time
