Hollywood Nails Metrocentre

Nails were very chunky and bumpy, cut shorter than I asked and we're not the same lengths. Didn't have time to get them fixed as I was travelling the following day. Staff were friendly.

Nails have chipped 2 days after having them done, the gel has just totally peeled off, contacted them on Facebook and just read and ignored my message.

nails are exactly how i wanted them, the ladies who done my nails were friendly aswell & knew exactly what i was after & they didnt disappoint. Took roughly 1hr30min but i was also getting an old set taken off. I also like the idea you get a nail kit (nail file & buffer) which u get to keep so the nail tech isn’t using the same nail file on each client, made me feel more comfortable. Definitely be back :)

I have had the worst experience ever at this nail bar was told I could not get extensions because “there was no time” and if I wanted French I need to come back once my nails had grown, I paid before I had gotten them done and at the end I was made to pay extra… I have had my gel nails on now for a week and it has already chipped and peeled away. DO NOT RECOMMEND staff are rude and just a awful place to live in

I previously came here 4 years ago and had the worst nail experience. I was made to bleed etc. 4 years later, I thought I’d give them another go as I thought maybe it was just a one off. I also hate leaving bad reviews. I’ve had another really poor experience. I pointed at the shape on the card for the nails I wanted and they didn’t look anything like that. I was expecting the man to ask if I was happy with them and I would have them politely asked him to file more off but he didn’t, he stopped and walked off. They’re not straight and are really poor. I can’t really fault the lady who did the gel though, she was nice. As soon as I got home, I filed them all and reshaped them and now they look ‘okay’ but not great. Wouldn’t ever go back. There’s a reason why they take upfront payment and that should be a red flag. They’re not cheap there either - I wouldn’t be happy even if I’d paid half the price to be honest.

Do not go here I just got my nails done there and am literally crying in my car because they are so low quality and ugly I was sat nearly three hours being passed around nail techs like a bad cold my nails are wonky lumpy and painted awfully the acrylic is so thin I feel like it will snap any moment and I’m overall just so upset, for a £35 treatment (with discount) this isn’t what I expect at all I’m going to have to find somewhere to get them fixed before I go on holiday because I can barely look at them. They also cut my fingers when filing so they were bleeding. The staff were friendly overall but the service was despicable. Update : the polish is already chipping and I haven’t even got home yet.

Do not recommend this place. Chaotic environment and staff rushed my nails and were heavy handed with drills and files. The acrylic is far too thick and they are uneven. After 6 days they have lifted and one has pinged off. Not good when you have to pay up front (overpriced as well). Far better places to spend your money where you will get nicer nails and a more pleasant experience.

Very heavy handed with their nail files to the point where it hurt too much! Glue on the nails was so strong I felt so much pain when I got them caught in the wardrobe sometimes! I didn’t get to have any nail art for the huge price that I payed. And I got one basic nail color.Nail shape wasn’t very great, uneven, and the application was a mess. The staff talked amongst themselves in another language and it was kind of rude. Not a great friendly conversation.
