Sussex home of target shooting (SHOTS)

Four of us (adults) had a 2hr shooting experience yesterday and still feeling the buzz. Wonderful facility with a great on site cafe. We enjoyed chatting to some fellow bikers before our shoot. Snack lunch was included. Quick sign in and a safety talk before our first hour of practice. Short break for lovely lunch before next hour of competition time. A most enjoyable experience. Dave was chief instructor ably assisted by Mike and Adrian. All were very friendly, professional and excellent instructors. We can highly recommend this to all ages wanting to have a go at shooting an air rifle at a safe and well run club.

Was told about SHOTS by a fellow biker who frequents the Ceasefire Cafe on site. After a call with the very helpful Bobby to see if it was suitable for my 11yr Old, we booked in and came over. George sorted us out and took our food order (incl. in Experience Price), then the wonderful Mike and Dave took us to the Air Rifle indoor range. With an hour of instruction, practise and helpful hints, we then had a drink and snack break before heading back in for our competition. So much fun, learning and enjoyment with a friendly group of people. Everything is well run, food, drink and service all excellent. Great experience if you’re looking for something new to try (and get hooked on!)

Brilliant! We did an air rifle experience session, and everyone could not have been more welcoming and helpful. It was great fun, really good value, and the guys looking after us went out of their way to help us improve our shots. Loved every minute - thank you so much!

Went here for a Stag day clay pigeon shooting event, very professional setup, great tuition, supervision and support. We were all newbies and were taken through exactly how to use the guns, safe operation and shooting/aiming advice. All in all a great day out.

My son treated me to an afternoon of Shotgun clay shooting so was very excited and not disappointed. Firstly the vibe here is amazing, all the staff are very friendly and it's so relaxed, you are well looked after by instructors who were professional in every aspect of safety and instructions of safe gun handling but in a relaxed manner so you do not feel under any pressure. Cafe area is so nice along with food I guarantee you will come away happy.We had a father & son from Bognor join our group so just the 4 of us and it was a gas they were such nice funny people had me in fits of laughter. There is not one negative about this afternoons shooting clays you guys have a great business here all your staff are just brilliant I can't thank you enough.Thanks Mark & Lewis

My son and I went to the range on the 23rd of August 2023, for a shooting experience it was the first time my son had shoot a Air rifle .All the staff where very friendly and helpful they made are time there a great day out .I would highly recommend anyone looking to do something different with there son or daughter on a wet or dry day popping down to the range .Thank you to all the staff from lee and alex

Me and my girlfriend visited for a clay shooting day, we had such an amazing time from start to finish. Every member of the team thereare very friendly, professional and helpful with all aspects. I'd never shot before and they were brilliant with teaching you safety, how to hold and aim the gun properly, they made you feel so relaxed the whole time, whilst also having a good laugh with you! We will definitely be returning again and would recommend to anyone.

This morning we did the air rifle experience. My mum and step-dad had done this experience before, so they insisted for my boyfriend and I to go with them. I had never shot a gun or handled a gun before, so was instantly put at ease. Everyone that worked there was super relaxed and friendly. The instructor/owner was very professional, and went through everything clearly before we started. His knowledge on the equipment and how to do everything was amazing! We were there for around 2 and a half hours. We had an hour practising and getting used to shooting at the targets, before we took a break for some yummy paninis at their cafe on site! (He also has 2 doggies that are too cute!) We then came back for the rest of the time to do the competition on the second half! My experience was not dissapointing and I really enjoyed it! Will definitely be back to do clay pigeon shooting!

Clay Shooting. Went with my father who has shot before and myself and my son who had never fired a gun. Bob our guide was very relaxed yet professional. Other club members were shooting too, very friendly environment, very welcoming. We will be returning.
