Westbourne Medical Centre

My son have been having episodes of difficulty in breathing. I phoned 999, after their assessment, we were landed to the A&E in James cook. The doctor queried my son might be having asthma and requested I phone my GP tomorrow for possible prescription of inhaler. I phoned my GP at exactly 8am, they said , sorry, no more available space to be seen. They said I should phone again by 1:30pm. I did again, I was told doctor will call me before 6pm today. About 4:11 pm , immediately I stood up to get some food for my son, my phone rand, as I was about answering, the call ended. I phoned back immediately to say, the call ended as I picked, they said, sorry, I will have to book another appointment for my son. I want to understand if they don't really care about someone's life?. 9 year old child and yet no one cares. This I don't understand really. I must say this isn't right. Anything bad could happen and no one cares. Well I believe in God and believe my son is healed already.

Almost impossible to get an appointment here. You’ll be waiting on the phone for 20+ minutes and you’ll have to call multiple times to get through to anyone. No one actually wants to sit at the reception or answer the phones. Don’t join here and if you go here then look elsewhere. Joke of a GP practice.

My Left eye is infected, my partner called up and made an appointment because I'm far two anxious only for the doctor to not speak on the phone and hang up, he called up again to let reception know what happened only for them to  gaslight him into thinking he hung up when nobody was speaking and that they rang again but we have proof in his phone that they litullaly hung up first and was only called once. The receiptinonist then told him to try again tomorrow and if not to go to the pharmacy and try a random eye drop without being seen by a professional. I have work tomorrow and my eye is bright red and swollen, so now I have to risk a random eyedrop and hope it doesn't do more damage. If I realised how incompetent this surgery was I would of just been self medicating from the start instead of waiting for some receiptonist to tell me to do that. I've been really anxious about calling the doctors but I really shouldn't be they litually do not care about you at all and have no emotions like empathy,  they're basically just machines doing the bare minimum not to get fired.

Been phoning for 4 days doing the 8 o'clock call then to get told no apontments for a phone call from my dr 1.30 to be told no we can't help call back tomorrow this has happened for 4 days on trott my health is at breaking point I've been with this surgery for 25 years and this secretary lauren refused me medical help after I stressed how much I need it she said no cant help you ring back tomorrow again I will be making a full complaint to pur acting govement health secretary to ask for an inspection as this surgery has gone way down hill and its down to hiring off staff that should not be in the job

April 26 before 10 am. Impossible to get any staff to answer a call. A prescription request was sent from Cohen Chemist last Tuesday. Cohen's are still waiting to receive it so that I can have much needed medication . What am I supposed To do? Trying to get an answer again today 28th Sept at 8.08 needing a prescription - ysyal recurded message, all lines engaged ring later

I've been sat since the emergency lines where closed its now 15.22 and I'm still sat trying to get through to make an appointment and to see why I cannot do my meds on the app amd the surgery pharmacy Said she would pass it all so I could.order one tells you one thing and them you cannot get your script I've been on hold 4 times now and then cut off WHY

Absolutely AWFUL place and so insensitive. I moved from Scotland to Middlesbrough and tried to get registered. I was shouted at twice by the receptionist about being from Scotland and that medical records would need to be manually transferred. I've been suffering with a severe health condition and going through pain and needed urgent help. They told me to wait three weeks to get registered. In the third week when I called to get an update, I was once again spoken to rudely about being from Scotland and that they have decided not to register me there due to being in a different cachment area. They tried to lie that I had made this decision, when I had clearly stated the GP was close to my work and I am happy to be registered there. I now have to apply again for a different GP, which will take another 3 weeks. My health condition has worsened. When referred to out of hours, they couldn't help due to not being registered at a GP. Please, if you are seeking medical attention from a reliable medical centre, avoid this one at all costs. I have never in my life met such rude and unprofessional receptionists. There is so much discrimination at this place.

Trying to get appointment for baby and is impossible had to go to hospital 3 times within 5 days. If this practice doesnt want to be doctors just close down.

My son required some steroids before he has surgery and hospital sent email to GPS l rang GPS and receptionist said she would make sure it would go through as urgent it was sent same day and then day after receptionist rang me to inform me that it had been done really grateful

It's half 3 on a Wednesday and the staff have decided to not turn up til...half 6? Honestly a terrible GP, I was mis-diagnosed by them for 3 years and their phone service is TERRIBLE. Right now I'm enquiring about medication I've been on for 3 years because they abruptly stopped coming and I can't get in touch with them due to their unreliable nature...
