Jack has opened his second place after his successful outlet in Newbiggin. His sausage rolls are legendary and the coffee and sandwiches are delicious.

Excellent coffee in Penrith. It's clear the owners have invested in their coffee and equipment and consequently make a flavourful drink without bitterness. Very much enjoyed my flat white. Also lovely looking array of cakes and sausage rolls/scotch eggs - though didn't try any of these myself on this occasion. Some comfier seating would be a cherry on top for this cafe gem but didn't detract from the drinking experience!

Foods good, coffee’s good but communication and service is 0/10.Used Neaum for a large event and they made a few (big) mistakes. No accountability was taken with them simply saying ‘mistakes happen’ and Jack ghosted numerous messages and calls over the course of 2 days right before the event.Communication could’ve solved things pretty easily but instead they just created a load of unnecessary stress.Nice cafe’s in Town and the Quarry, but I’d say steer clear for any event catering. I’m sure they’ve done loads of events well in the past, but clearly when it goes wrong, they’re just not up to the plate to taking ownership. I wouldn’t want anyone else to experience the same hassle.Frustratingly, they also took payment upfront too and didn’t deliver fully what was promised so definitely feel short changed in that sense.
