Travelex Foreign Currency Exchange and Travel Money

LIESSSS! they tricked us into getting there card they even said we will get out money back if we don't use it. We cashed on £450 to lira we didn't even spend a penny 12hrs later they said we can only get half our money back because the value had dropped I mean what rubbish is this.Don't trust them it's all about how they make commission on a sale! And they don't have any answers

An absolutely horrendous company. Ordered foreign currency with Barclays who use travelex, choose home delivery and worked from home. Email day before saying dispatched but no tracking number. Postie came and went. Called number in afternoon they refuse to give out reference number but confirm delayed in post- had I got reference number id know. They refuse to request delivered to sorting office or post office and as out next day will be a missed event. Royal Mail new policy is you need 2 missed events before can collect from sorting office where inflight not used before first - so no currency for holiday. Do travelex care? No! Might have to cancel holiday such a bad bad company avoid at all costs!

Never use their ATMs unless you want to get ripped off. Charged a fee of almost $50 to take out 200 GBP in the London Airport. Should be illegal.

Went to Travelex in London Stansted Airport to exchange Euros to GBP. The website offered a reasonable rate, but when I purchased 100 GBP, I paid over 25% more than advertised, wasting more than 30€. I feel stupid for being so trusting and for not double checking. Although the staff were polite, I will recommend everyone avoid Travelex at all costs, and to tell others to do the same. Attention everyone: If you value your sanity and expect even a modicum of customer service, AVOID Travelex at all costs!They blocked my card as soon as i bought one from them and for no reason ( I am still waiting for a reason). I followed their ridiculous procedures and submitted all the necessary documents, and was promised a resolution in 1-2 business days. Well, guess what? It's been FIVE agonizing days, and not a single response!I've bombarded them with emails, messages, and calls every day, only to be met with absolute silence. The audacity of claiming they'll resolve the issue" within a set timeframe while leaving customers hanging is beyond unprofessional—it's a complete joke.Save yourselves the headache and frustration. Don't fall victim to Travelexs empty promises and total lack of care for its customers"

Predatory exchange. Charged me 30% over the actual rate. Do not use.

Bal is the absolute best person! I’ve never had a kinder soul with such a personality! He took our time with us and made extra special! With a killer smile to top it off! He was a breath of fresh air after a long flight! Absolutely adore you Bal!

Really bad exchange rate offering 1.02 Euros to GBP compared to everywhere else that offers 1.12 (at the moment) and tried to sell it as a good deal. Would highly recommend Thomas exchange on Kings Cross, much better deal and super friendly staff, really good website for click and collect as well.

I was travelling to Saudi Arabia, and I had no clue how money exchange worked until I met this young, amazing personality called Priti ! She went through the entire process and worked out the best for my money. Anyone reading this comment visiting Heathrow Terminal 4 I highly recommend Priti for your future currency exchanges as she will help you like your own family and not just a customer!

Traveled is not accepting UK provisional license, and ID’s from non-EU countries.
