This is the worst doctors. So unprofessional and no care. They called my sister and my mum before they called me for one appointment. How does that happen? What if it was private that I did not want to share with my family. Absolutely disgusting the stories I have about this surgery. One of the reception girls literally acts like you are asking for one of her kidneys for an appointment and quite frankly she should not be working there. I know a girl and I AM NOT THAT GIRL! But I knew a 17 year old girl go to the surgery asking for help due to an unwanted pregnancy. They turned the girl away saying they could not help, she was so scared and had try find help on her own. If the girl ended up having that child the only person to blame solely would be the doctor who said they could not help. Abortion should always be an option at the NHS.

There's a handful of great doctors left but there's a particular rude receptionist I've encountered too many times now with verbatim comments of what do you want me to do about it" in a passive aggressive tone. In the process of transferring out

My husband rang the surgery about 11.00 yesterday morning as he was worried he'd got a chest infection. Had a call back from a doctor in the afternoon. Great service.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Had to chase five times for a doctors note to be emailed to me after they told me they had sent it to the incorrect email address, and that’s just my experience today. They give conflicting advice between doctors, the reception staff are incredibly rude and patronising, whenever you speak to anybody or, (by some miracle) actually manage to see somebody, they are in one big rush with no thought for care or attention. I know they’re busy, but to completely neglect helping people and to make them feel like they don’t deserve an appointment or the time of day is an utter disgrace, especially when I’ve had genuine issues and worries in my pregnancy and other health issues previously. I’ve been at the surgery for nearly 3 years, the pandemic has been tough on us all, but they need to stop hiding behind it and get back to actually helping their patients.

I've been at this surgery over 10 years, the doctors are ok some better than others some reluctant to give diagnosis even with a lot of evidence of condition.The telephone booking system has recently been updated but you have to call at 8am to book an appt & at times are 45 or more in the que, the system is bad. But on the other hand the staff are friendly & do try to help whenever they can they're also pretty efficient including the admin team & pharmacist Indie

Has deteriorated significantly recently unfortnately. Although the last dr i saw there was good ALL appointments are extremely rushed and you are still talking to them as they walk you out. You get back home realising you didnt get to ask them everything you wanted to because its all so rushed. Some of the phone staff in the mornings need better people skills and just sound abrupt and angry. Its a shame as patients deserve so much better than what Thorneloe Lodge Surgery provides.

I was a patient here a few years ago. Was sent in for an emergency mental health appointment and the doctor told me I didn't look depressed"

Phoned up first thing and was put through in 5 minutes. Got a virtual appointment and called back in 10 minutes. After some questioning the prescription was on the way to my local pharmacy. Excellent service and saved me a trip to a waiting room. If you could offer video appointments that would be even better.

It's one of the worst surgeries I think I have ever been to the receptionist is so rude and so unprofessional and it looks scruffy and old and the staff are arrogant glad I moved..

The doctor I spoke with this morning within a telephone appointment was brilliant. Didn't rushed in explaining anything and had patience with all my questions. Thank you!
