Metropolitan Housing

I'm not a Tenant but it's taken 6 months to get any sort of response to a repair they are jointly responsible for which is affecting the property I own. On that basis, I can't really assume that the service offered to tenants is likely to be any better.

Don't go with metropolitan they rip you off and don't repair the property and I've told them about the mould and nothing gets done

To whom it may concern, I've been pleading with them for more than a year due to my circumstances. I'm a single mother living on Normanton, this area is very troublesome for me, my kids and our general condition and health being.The area is full of crime, suspicious activity, druggies and general nuisance.All of this is causing me great depression and increased my anxiety by a ton! I've had people break into my home, I've had people throw objects into my windows causing them damage, I've had mould, mice and the list goes on! Is this a healthy environment to raise 2 little kids? I don't think so!I've reported all of this before and to my avail had absolutely no substantial help offered unto me. I've given evidence and I've done all I could and still not a thing has happened for the betterment of my circumstance.Also, I've been bidding all year around on their co-website (Jigsaw), and recently bid for a house, becoming the first bidder but the house was quickly given to someone who was apparently a 'higher' priority.However, a few days later I had discovered that no one actually was given the house and the property was put on Derby Home Finder instead.Therefore, all of this deceit and previous discrimination I've encountered has made me hopeless. as I'm quite sure the only reason I'm treated this was is because I'm not British.In the past all they've offered was a tiny flat that resembled a garage more than anything, which would've caused me to sell all my belongings!And what's even worse is that they completely ignore me, for 3 or so months I've been sending E-mails and had absolutely no response at all!Avoid them at all costs!

Disgusting company!!! They allow tenants to live in accomadtion riddled with mould!!!! Even when they have children!!! Avoid these at all costs!!!
