This is the worst experience I have had in 40 years of going to hair salons. I have used this salon on three separate occasions and each visit has got progressively worse. The second appointment took 3.5 hours for a semi permanent colour roots retouch and blow dry (normally 1.5 hrs). For my third visit, I booked a semi permanent roots retouch and blow dry. The salon called to ask if I they could move the appointment from 5.45pm to 5.15pm. I was accommodating and said ‘yes’. On the day, I got caught in traffic and called to let them know that I would be delayed by approximately 15 minutes. The stylist said that’s fine she was running late with a client anyway and then said “fine, get here safely”. When I arrived at the salon, I was told that they could only do half the treatment (the colour) and that I would have to leave the salon with wet hair! When I explained that I had been accommodating and moved the appointment when asked. I was told well that was your choice. Hold on, they chose to call me! With concern, I asked if they would now be doing a rushed job on the colour and I asked as I was now only having colour would it be priced accordingly! I was told that they were within their rights to charge me for the whole amount as I was late and that the stylist had to go home sometime. I would never use this salon again, as going to the hairdressers should be a relaxing, pampering experience, not one where you are spoken to rudely and treated as an inconvenience! Use this salon at your peril!The owner Sandy Wood did try to make amends for the poor customer service of Rheanna the stylist and Sandy Wood’s daughter but it was really too little too late.

I cannot express enough online how thrilled I am with my new hair transformation. I went to see Sandy for a consultation last week as my hair was in a bad state, it needed help. After showing her a couple of pics of what I desired, she recommended Kerastraight. To be honest I had never heard of it. After leaving the salon I done my research just to see if this would truly benefit my hair and give me the finish I wanted. I have had my treatment in its entirety and Sandy has delivered exactly what I wanted. I am so pleased. Thank you Sandy.

One of the most knowledgable hair stylist I ever met! Great haircut, can‘t wait to go again and include a hair treatment. Tried lots of hairdressers in Buckhurst Hill and surroundings over the past five years and this one has been the best!

Talented hairdressers, passionate about what they do (which is hard to find these days!) and what I loved is they make sure you walk away happy and confident with what they have done, and they will actually do what you want, giving good advice on what’s best for your hair!, not just what they want!.Recommend, Save your pennies if you want a really good hairdressers!. It’s worth it..

Went to Sandy Wood's a couple of weeks ago to get foils (bleach blonde) - I went in for a consultation and was told it would be achievable and then they did a test strand. I was also conscious that I use semi permanent box dye over 6 months ago and they reassured that it would be fine.I went in a couple of weeks later to get it done. Now my hair is patchy, has multiple colours in it (black, blonde, bronze, ginger), the roots look like they've grown out, I have one side of my hair lighter than the other and my hair is extremely damaged. I called and emailed the next day after realising how disappointed I was (my hair is not wearable/presentable). I've got no where at all, i haven't been offered a correction or compensation and no one has made any effort to fix the situation. Ive been told to come back in and pay for corrections. It's unprofessional.
