Danceworks

We moved to dance works after spending years at another school. We needn't have worried as we were welcomed with open arms and nothing was too much. My son thought it would be awkward at a new dance school yet within a few lessons my son had his spark and passion back for dance and this was down to the amazing teachers and friendly students that form the dance works family. My daughter has since joined this family and loves it to pieces she is only 5 and can't wait to try other classes as she gets older.

I have attended Danceworks since it first opened and have received immense support throughout the years. I have gained a degree in Dance Studies from a top institution and I am now a qualified dance teacher. Had I not been encouraged and taught by the outstanding teachers at Danceworks I would not have succeeded in leading a career in the dance and education sectors. It is a pleasure to see other children begin the same journey I have gone on and experience the fantastic ethos that is promoted throughout the school. Danceworks is a wonderful school to train at and I would recommend it to anyone.

Danceworks is a brilliant dance school. Since moving there my children have grown in confidence, improved their techniques, made some great friends and have been accepted by all students and staff. The dance teachers are top rate.

Words cannot explain how much this place has changed my life. I was at Danceworks for almost 9 years and it was the best 9 years of my life. The teachers and the students became my family and the training resulted in me getting a place at a top dance academy in Birmingham. Even with only taking one class a week I improve technically, mentally and emotionally and it improved not only my dance skills but improved me as a person.

I have been at Danceworks since I was 15 it's a fantastic school with amazing teachers. The staff are welcoming and there attitude and flexibility towards whether you want to dance for fun or professionally is something I haven't found at another school. I've found the school to be incredibly professional whilst creating a fun environment to dance in. Whanita Your team is a credit to you. I have a 10 month old daughter who I can not wait to take to Danceworks for her first ballet class and see her journey through the world of dance with incredible teachers.

Since moving to Danceworks just over a year ago, I can say I feel totally at ease attending all the classes I do. I have grown in confidence since attending and have made some friends I will keep for life. The teachers are so encouraging and even get you to express yourself in class by asking opinions on their choreography or for additional choreography from students. Fun, friendly and successful dance school :)

I started at Danceworks about nine years ago after a ten year absence from the world of dance. I found the staff friendly and welcoming on arrival. As an adult I was amazed to find so many dance styles available to me and at different levels, I have been able to continue with my ballet and tap classes while also l learning styles such as hip hop, street jazz and lyrical! The teaching staff are amazing and encouraging to all their pupils whatever their ability, age or level and am proud to say have become some of closest friends! I would highly recommend this school if you are looking for somewhere friendly and welcoming that will encourage your child or yourself to develop at your own pace!

I have been going to Danceworks since I can remember! It's become a part of my life and the teachers and people there are like my family! They are extremely encouraging towards my career choices and have never pushed me to do something I didn't want to do. They have helped me progress to become a better dancer which has made my confidence grow throughout the years. Thanks to all the teachers I have also taken up acting and found it most enjoyable and has made me consider for a future career! I'm really looking forward to go back to danceworks in September and learning more incredible dance.
