Just want to say thanks to Regency for dealing with the sale of our property, a professional and friendly service. Eloise was amazing and without her help during the last week before completion we dont think it would have actually gone through on the date.

I and 3 friends rent out a couple of properties in Bolton and use Regency as our letting agents. We couldn't ask for a better service. All our queries are dealt with immediately and in such a friendly and efficient manner. They are a beautifully run enterprise and we can't recommend them too highly.

Saffron was brilliant when dealing with our latest purchase. It wasn't a straightforward transaction and took longer than initially anticipated, however nothing was too much bother, and Regency really went the extra mile to ensure the sale went through. Would highly recommend Regency estates.

My experience with Maisie Vernon at Regency Estates was excellent. She was extremely helpful in every regard and was always ready to answer any questions that I had. As moving home is not an everyday experience, her helpfulness was invaluable. I would certainly recommend Regency Estates and Maisie in particular to anyone contemplating moving home.

Avoid, avoid, avoid!!.......Regency was extremely poor on the emergency help side, even though they give me a 24/7 number to call, if it was not for the landlord having his own people and making them available to me I think I'd still be sitting there waiting for the boiler to be fixed. When I gave my notice that I wanted to move out Regency immediately asked if they could they start showing people around the property, due to my work constraints and having children the answer had to be a no from me. At this point I realized very quickly that there were going to be issues with the rest of my tenancy and vacating the property. They went from being relatively nice and polite to dismissive and cold in their nature. When I actually moved out I purposely took 2 days holiday to make sure the property was Immaculate! I can hand on heart say that the property was of a much higher standard than when I moved in. On moving in some of the light bulbs were out and the general cleanliness was lacking (especially in the bathrooms) and you could clearly see that the wood floors had not been mopped. The back garden had a bucket and mop, also a yard brush and tiles all that have been left by the previous tenant but we're actually for the property. I have pictures of all of these from the check-in document. To my absolute disbelief on moving out of the property, I received emails from Regency telling me that it is common practice that a deep clean is carried out and I must foot the bill for this (apparently it seems this is an unwritten obligation!!), this bill was £100. They also wanted money for the yard brush and tiles and bulbs that were out when I moved in. I was completely astonished and a little bit disgusted by this approach it showed complete unprofessionalism and also the fact that there was no continuity in the logging of the property's history and contents. The total amount Regency wanted was £145. All communication had ceased at this point, no replies to emails or calls.Safe to say I wasn't going to give them this as it was completely out of order, it continued through the DPS, the DPS awarded them £35. This was only awarded because in the document that I had made and submitted to the DPS, I hadn't put the time stamp on the pictures, please make sure you do this if you have issues.Overall quite a poor company, with terrible communication internal and external and money hungry. Avoid, Avoid, AvoidI am sure there will be a brief reply with something alluding to it’s all a mistake or even my misunderstanding…..I will reference Alex Handley (a review from two months ago).……Alex Handley“Avoid using this agency, shortly before we were to move out they asked if they could show people around the house, which normally no problem, unfortunately it was not a good time due to a family death, they didn’t like that they couldn’t show people around as we had not given consent, Claire from regency then became very rude and ended the phone call abruptly after not getting what she had wanted, what followed was conveniently an invoice for almost a months rent from our deposit, coincidence I think not”“Upon moving out they’d wrote a list of what they was taking from our deposit, and just too highlight a few, a key for a padlock which we was never given (£20) paint scuffs £250 ridiculous, emptying of a black bin left for the council £60 & more.”“Wouldn’t never recommend or re use this Regency, 1 Star is a compliment.”My reply to Gemma’s comments that she copy and pasted from an email I received from Regency Estates director, after I published my review. Here is the whole email with my replies, attached as photo.

Eloise and the Regency team were extremely helpful and efficient from Day 1. As I was selling a house but not living locally I had to ask for bits of extra help and they could not have done more. I definitely recommend them.

I dealt with Eloise. She was friendly, efficient and there was no nonsense, as you can often get with some Estate Agents. I also felt that they were honest and overall did a great job. I would recommend Regency Estates to anyone.

I can highly recommend Regency Estates whether you're thinking of buying, selling or renting. Their team are are highly professional, efficient and friendly. I'm a landlord and after comparing their service with one of their competitors I chose to transfer my entire portfolio to them.

An incredible service was provided by Maisie and the team. They were reachable at every phone call and questions answered on time. It was a beautiful experience renting with Regency Estate, from the first enquiry to moving in. I have already recommended them to another family.
