ColourWheel Art Class Butlers Cross

Having not picked up a paintbrush for about 30 years it has been an absolute joy to come to these classes! Exploring such a wide variety of mediums and techniques in a lighthearted, supportive environment. I’ve been delighted and surprised by what I have created!

This term has been a really good one, stretching me and taking in places outside my comfort zone but really helpful: thanks to Jo, Stacey and Richard!! The venue is comfortable and just a few minutes from where I live. So really convenient.

I have just booked the next art class term with Stacey who organises ColourwheelI have so enjoyed all the art themes each week and have learnt different mediums I hadn’t used before .The group are friendly and welcoming and Jo our professional art teacher is just great . I must say the class is the highlight of my week.

A great class. I have learned a great deal from Colourwheel art class. Spending three hours each week just creating art and chatting to friends old and new - fantastic!!

I have attended the Butlers Cross course recently and can highly recommend it. It’s been fantastic to be able to try new media’s out that I’ve never used and learn new techniques in a relaxed, fun environment.I was made to feel welcome and met lots of lovely people at all different levels. Stacey looks after everyone providing everything we need including tea and biscuits and Jo teaches in such an easy way making it fun to learn. Having not done art lessons since school but remembering I enjoyed it, I was pleased to learn I wasn’t alone. It was great to get inspiration from the more experienced people’s work too. Fantastic course!

Always lovely to enjoy an informative art class each week. The lessons are adapted for all skill levels and are fun and absorbing. A very mindful way to end the week in such a lovely atmosphere.

I joined the Fri pm class in Sept 22 and have thoroughly enjoyed the class each week. Having not done art since school 40 something years ago I am amazed at what I have managed to produce under Jo's fun tuition. Lovely hall and everything provided and set up for our arrival each week by Stacey.

The weekly classes are great fun, led by lovely Jo (who is a nutcase - sorry Jo, but you are!) and organised by Stacey, who sorts us all out. The hall is comfortable to sit and work in in, and it's always laid out in advance so all i have to do is turn up! The classes give me 3 hours of 'me time' each week which I wouldn't otherwise have, and I can learn new painting techniques at the same time. Plus of course chatting to and have coffees with the other members of the class each week!

I have just completed my first term with Colourwheel and thoroughtly enjoyed it. I was a complete beginner but feel more confident now to practice some artwork at home. I have signed up to do another term.
