Unfortunately very disappointed with tgi this time, been here for years but had a terrible evening. I had the cheese meltdown burger with extra loaded cheese and bacon fries" I'll attach a photo of the fries

ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS!!Where do I start here...Came here post ninja warrior. Upon entering the place. Straight away looked dark and depressive but we kept an open mind.First we ordered our drinks and after asking for a draught beer, we were told they had ran out of gas so I said ok no problem I'll just look at the menu again. I then noticed the price for a 330ml bottle of beer (£6.60 I believe). Astounded by the price, I opted for tap water. Next the food and and I went for the burger. My brother ordered two starts at £9 each. I ordered fish fingers, chips and beans for my daughter...45 mins later (the restaurant wasn't busy). The waitress returned to inform us they were out of beans so we just agreed to have a few more fries.5 mins later the food arrived and I was so underwhelmed I cannot explain..The burger was so average and as for my brother's starters.. well, horrendous comes to mind! The staff all looked miserable and not interested at all, the food was so overpriced for what was served and tbh the whole experience was absolutely dreadful. Its been maybe 10 years since I've been in a tgi's and I can assure that's the last time I ever step foot in one.Do yourself a favour and go to McDonald's around the corner and save yourself a lot of money and enjoy a better meal (yes really!)

We always have a lovely time and great food coming to TGIs. This is the second time we have been served by Amelia and she’s always so bubbly and friendly, this time making the kids some doggy balloons. It’s great to be served by someone who is easy to talk to and good with the kids.

We've been here at least 3 times in the last year and we have had exceptional service and food every time. We love it! Today Amelia was our server and she was just outstanding. Very prompt with everything, checking on us, and having a good laugh. Made our day!

Worst experience ever! Unfortunately the reviews around food standard and staff are accurate. The managers are awful, incredibly rude, no people skills eye rolling and smirking whilst discussing the situation. our food was ready at the pass and we went up 3/4 times to ask for it to be bought out as the kids were super hungry and irritable at this stage, having waited 40 minutes. Four waiters attended our table but manager exclaimed only one told her about what has happened, but all four said they will let the manager know. So instead of having a go at us she should have spoken to her staff! (Manager Holly you can have a special mention - you’re in the wrong job!) Whoever looks at these reviews and says “this is not our normal standards, get in touch to discuss” is lying & needs to be reviewing their staff as they are the ones dropping the standards. The only decent waiter Amelia who overheard everything and wasn’t our waiter but had the decency to come over and apologise should be awarded, Amelia understood customer service! The table behind us saw everything that was going on they had issues and got money of their bill they wished us luck but when it came to us management were just like no, no! I wish we had taken photos my nephew had one small floret of broccoli as part of his side, the mash was hard but editable so nephew ate it as he was hungry. The chicken was dry, it was just awful! Stay away this ruined our Saturday night !

We went to TGI's in April 2023 after we had been to the Wild Project which was close by.I've been to the Cheltenham TGI's before so I knew what to expect.Though from an initial look at the menu, the prices seem to have gone up a lot. Which I get as everything has gone up in price, but TGI's as a brand is not known for being a high end place, so I was a bit surprised to be paying £19 for 9 chicken wings! However the staff were very welcoming when we arrived and gave our 1 year old son crayons and paper which was nice.We did have to go and get the waitress to order our food as there was a large gap between getting our drinks and ordering food.Generally it was good. I had to change my son's nappy, and so the disabled toilet had a nappy changing facility which was great.

If you're into dingy, this is your place. I would have preferred to spend my money in a Northern men's club. For the length of time this business has operated in this spot (30 years), it's not unreasonable to expect some kind of renovation; after all TGI FRIDAY has earned an ample amount of money from the community they are taking money from.Service - I've see bad service in my time, but this was definitely in the top three. The so called waitress with 2 feet long nails who was more interested in blowing up a balloon than doing something of use, seemed incapable of cleaning the menus, picking up the things she dropped ( e.g. fork) or taking dishes off the tables. The amount of times staff walked past used dishes to go to the kitchen was laughable in the end. Should staff have long nails, given the hands and nails are not scrubbed?Food - over priced, cold and soggy. I was about to ask for the other half of the mains order it was so small. Having realised how dirty this restaurant is, it was impossible to eat.Toilets - smelt extremely bad and the condition of the floor is an indication of the quality of the toilet facilities.Suggestion - buy a nice meal in M&S

We had a meal here as a Birthday celebration for our son.Service was fantastic and attentive without being overbearing.Food was great. Our only negative was the food was quite expensive for what it is. But we knew the price before we visited.
