Chestnuts Childcare

Absolutely amazing nursery! All the staff are friendly and go out of there way to help all families being a military family the girls always accommodate any needs we have as a family and help make nursery fun and easy for our little boy! 110% would recommend not just a nursery but they feel like additional family❤️

My children have been attending g chestnuts childcare for nearly 1 year. One of my children is at the setting full time and enjoys everyday he is there, he has made good relationships with staff and other children. My eldest attends breakfast and after school club and absolutely loves attending and has also made good relationships with staff and children. The setting accommodates to our needs in regards with childcare and we couldn’t see our children being looked after elsewhere. The whole setting is absolutely brilliant and we couldn’t ask for anymore. Definitely recommend!

Our kid has special needs and is quite hard work. Many other nurseries in the area said 'no' straightaway after hearing about our child's needs. Chestnuts just said 'come!', and we've been with Chestnuts for the last few years now. They've been very helpful and in fact bent backwards to help our child.Chestnuts is also very flexible in terms of hours. You can fix whatever hours you prefer (compared to other nurseries who insist on 'sessions' rather than hours). Their prices are also quite competitive. And their opening hours are long! Works really well for shift workers.Overall we've been very happy with Chestnuts and will recommend anyone to take a look and enrol their children there.

Absolutely outstanding nursery. My first daughter went in at 1.5yo and continued her journey up until year 2 at primary school. My youngest baby girl started back in September last year at just 10 months old. I could not believe how quickly she have adapted and after couple of weeks there was no tears at drop offs and only smiles at pick up times. They always keep me posted about her daily to day activities baps and food consumption. Seeing updates with photos on the famly app gave me a lot of comfort and assurance that she is very happy and content. Massive thank you to all Chestnuts staff

My boys love going to chestnuts. I being with them for 7years now and enjoyed watching them grow. There is lots for my boys to do with outdoor activities and indoor activities. They cater for my sons dietary needs. They always try and help what ever it is! There was so much help during the pandemic. Always flexible and willing to listen to my worries!

Really appreciate all the support and care they have given to help Robin adjust and thrive in the setting. Robin has special needs and require lots of attention but the staff members have been so kind and caring towards him. An absolute great nursery!

We’re so pleased as first time parents to leave our child in such good care.Our daughter has been with chestnuts since being 3 months old and safe to say we never had any worries and were always reassured.She’s always learning new skills and enjoys interacting with her other nursery friends in little tigers.The staff are so friendly and always go above and beyond to ensure our daughter is happy and content.We regularly receive plenty of pictures and are updated throughout the day of her progress.I would highly recommend chestnuts.

My little girl loves coming to chestnuts, she has been attending since she was 9months old and is now nearly 2! In this time she can come on leaps and bounds, learning something new everyday. She loves being outside and getting messy which the girls always make sure she gets to do in her days at nursery. The staff are always helpful and would always recommend coming and having a look around or speaking to someone if you are unsure if they could accommodate rota hours, I have a rota base contact and they are very flexible with offering childcare when I need it. Ellie has not long started at chestnuts but really enjoys coming, So much she asks to come everyday. The staff have been friendly and welcoming. Overall a good experience so far and a happy daughter.
