Burton Police Station

Went to collect my two items from the burton police station. They told me that they could only find one item and they would call me when they have found the other item. Disorganised and they have no respect for tour property that they have taken as the item i recieved back from them, the screen was smashed. When they rook it it was not smashed and only a week old when i bought t and they took it away. Just advised to go through complaints procedure. Remember police and cps need proof of the crime. Always say no comment when they interview you.

After going to the police to seek help not only did they ship me off not allowing me to contact my mother (the person I live with and the only real person I trust within my family) but take all my electronics away meaning I then have no forms of contact meaning I also lost my job but then go on holiday 2 days into the investigation and after my recorded interview they don't even contact me and don't check on mine or other people involved safety! Absolutely appalling.

Tonight I had my car broke into which I found around 9.00pm. Tried to call the police but was only referred to social media in the middle of a rainy car park with no computer to hand. Eventually I got hold of a completely disinterested police force about 11.30 pm despite their recorded message saying it is important that we deal with your inquiry as efficiently and effectively as possible"!! Utterly useless!!!"

Very low,they don't care about people.

If you have criminals in your street be prepared to move house. The police will always support them and try and pawn you off with a list of endless useless excuses that will most likely to contradict themselves. We are moving well out this police forces jurisdiction so that we can once again feel safe where we live. If you visit the station be prepared to be spoken to derisivley as if you are a child and intimidated by the smallest person they can find.

And the award for the laziest most incompetent police force goes to Staffordshire Police force. Thanks to their commitment to telling people that there is no point in doing anything because it won't go to court and there response time that is recorded with a calendar instead of a watch. The crime rate would be lower in Burton if there was no police and people were just left to take the law into their own hands. If crime is your thing Burton is the place for you. The police force that couldn't catch a cold never mind a criminal.

A friend was found dead with cannabis,so the people that were there that found him were arrested and kept over night and have still not been released..how the hell does that work..so if you find a body and the person has been smoking cannabis..best just to leave them..then they wonder why the police have a bad name.

They were very gentle when they handcuffed me, the patrol vehicles was incredibly roomy, overall very professional. will get arrested by then again, for sure.

If I could give zero I would give they protecting criminals and racist they leave you alone... They give to the person final warning and after that final warning the racist guy brake it to many times and they give him again final warning even if you have evidence video they don't care anyway they will speak but they will not do nothing... Shame this town it's going down.

Heartbroken and scared. Planning a move now I know what Burton has to “protect” me. Never have I felt more disappointed or let down in the justice system and it breaks my heart. Over 24 hours ago, I experienced something terrifying and related to stalking, being under 20 and living entirely alone, I am scared enough as it is. After the incident, I reported it to police immediately in tears. They told me a car would be out immediately. They kept me waiting for over 5 hours for a police car, from 11:30ish pm until 5am. Everytime I called I got told there would be one with me very shortly, until I had to give up and pass out at 5AM due to having work at 8AM.They told me they would come over to my house after work, this next day.They told me they would be here at 7PM and it is now past midnight, i have called multiple times and been told there is no promise at all an officer will see me now, despite me cancelling plans for this and running myself to the brink of exhaustion with 2 hours sleep, crying because I feel unsafe in my own home. I have not been contacted ( as they say they would ) if they couldn’t reach me. They haven’t reached me. It has been over 24 hours since I was a victim of the crime and I have never felt more unsafe, disappointed or truly heartbroken by the authorities before. I am now planning to move out of this town ASAP due to not being protected like I thought I was.I wish I could vote 0 stars. My life has been a living hell somce the oncident and all the police station has done is lie to me and keep me awake despite myself working 2 jobs to survive and not having time as it is. I have been exhausted and lied to by the police department and I will never trust or use these again.If you are victim of a crime, take it into your own hands and don’t trust this police station.
