I contacted Dom about getting some replacement internal doors and he came round and quoted me for supplying and fitting them all. I have to say I’m very happy with the work he has done and he was very professional from start to finish. I’d happily recommend Dom to anyone in need of a good, friendly and reliable carpenter.

We needed 19 internal doors changing and hanging. Dom provided a quote in a very timely manner, we had lots of changes to the work we were considering, our fault not Dom’s but he dealt with those patiently and professionally and provided good advice to help us in our decision making. When the work started he was clean, tidy and respectful of our home. Any unforeseen issues were brought to our attention promptly and we agreed a way forward. His carpentry skills are exceptional. The care put in and the quality of his craftsmanship were outstanding. I would not hesitate to recommend him for any carpentry work you may be considering. First class workmanship at a reasonable price.

I called Dom on Saturday and he arrived on Monday to do the job as agreed. He was quick clean and respectful. I’m very happy with the door fittings he done following new carpets being installed.

I asked Dom to remove the glass panel from the double glazed window so we could remove the the sofa as it was too big to get through the door. He turned up on time was courteous and very professional. He explained in detail the process and made me aware that sometimes the glass panel in an old unit could be difficult to remove with the risk of possible glass damage and yes indeed this was a very stubborn one. Needless to say Dom was very patient and did the job with no damage to the window at all.He cleaned up and even helped to get the sofa out which was much appreciatedOverall a small job to many other people who couldn't be bothered to respond to my calls but Dom will always make a professional effort and give you an honest opinion.I have used Dom many times in the past with flooring windows doors fencing building work and project management and many other jobs.No doubt i will be using DC carpentry many more times again

I needed some new doors hanging and from the point of making first contact with Dom, I found him very polite, helpful and professional. They were not easy doors to fit as they were an odd size and required a lot of trimming but Dom did a fantastic job. You can tell he is a perfectionist and that is evident in his work. Very happy customer and would definitely recommend him to friends and family.

The project involved the complete refurbishment of a water-damaged, 2-bed Victorian mid-terrace house and garden, including reroofing, reflooring, rewiring, replumbing, replastering, replacement windows, fitting of kitchen and bathroom, and building in cupboards. Dom managed the overall project – coordinating the contributions of numerous tradesmen – but we particularly valued his skills as a carpenter (his original training). We also very much appreciated his flexibility and close liaison with us as the project unfolded and plans needed to be changed, as well as his willingness to “go the extra mile” to deliver what we wanted. The result is outstanding.

Highly recommend this company. I had a wooden bike shed assembled, and arched side gate (including posts) - made and installed to the existing brick wall. Very pleased with both jobs. Rare to find someone who takes such pride in their work, and is so thorough. Delighted with my gate, which I appreciate wasn’t the easiest to either produce or fix, due to sloping floors etc. Dom is a true professional, and friendly with it!
