Very warm welcome especially to our two dogs. Only had a hot drink but cakes looked lovely.Really pleasant attractive tea shop.Really friendly staff. Brought our dogs a plate of dog biscuits.

Lovely little café, independently run, bigger inside than we thought.Very tasty, fresh cooked food - we both went for the soup and toastie lunchtime combo.Piping hot warming, hearty soup with a chunky, generously filled toastie.Friendly, welcoming staff who had a good sense of humour and were happy to chat.Just what was needed on a chilly autumn day

My husband ordered a toasted tea cake and I ordered soup, my husband tea cake came out instantly, i waited half an hour for my bowl of soup which I still did not get as we had to leave for an appointment. When my husband went to pay and said we did not get the soup the owner moaned at him said it was made fresh, when I actually saw him putting soup into the microwave and my husband said about him getting a tea cake while I was still waiting he was told they don't serve teacakes and proceeded to have ago at my husband again. My husband said his customer service was appalling to which he was told it had taken the owner 25 years to build up the business to which my husband replied that maybe it would take another 25 years to get the customer service right.

Had a nice lunch here today. Swift, friendly service. The tuna toastie was tasty (good granary bread) with a simple but very fresh side salad. Would visit again when I'm in Tewkesbury next.

Really, really quaint and homely with homemade cakes and coffees of which the proprietors are rightly proud. They take care. Genteel older customers for the most part that one might imagine belong to the County Set". After you enter life seems to move more slowly and gently. It it lace and china and lovely."

Ordered bacon sandwich: It took ages to arrive. I asked for well done bacon. It turned up 1/2 fat, under-cooked and VERY greasy. Not worth eating!

We had 2 coffees each with our main meal. Absolutely delicious food, everything was well cooked and nicely presented.Excellent service and everywhere was spotless. Lots of extra little touches that made for a pleasant visit.Would highly recommend and will certainly come back soon.

Awful customer service from what we believe to be owner, food not timed to arrive at same time. Had to wait 25 minutes for 2nd order and then owner moaned at us when we had to leave coz we couldn't wait any longer. Needs to change his surname to Fawlty.
