Solar Made Simple

As others have said, did what they said they would, when they said they'd do it (didn't make first fitting day but I was told in advance and explained why so quite happy).I did a lot of chopping and changing my mind before settling on final solution - 14 panels and 10kWh battery. Neat and tidy job, professional roofers and electrician. All done in a day - no mess afterwards.Cost was around about what I was expecting (less if I'm being totally honest), service was completely in order. Been telling everyone who will listen (and some who won't!) about the benefits of this kind of setup.Pleasure to deal with. If I ever move I'd use them again - can't say fairer than that.(Oh and I'm using virtually no grid electricity now :-) )

At 85 years old I am still at the helm of my family business after more than sixty years. If anything I am paranoid about offering the best customer service possible. Until now I have never dealt with any company which comes close to the service my company offers. But Solar Made Simple is on a par! Fair price compared with other quote. Quality of work excellent. Assistance in helping me to get my aging grey matter around the technology involved? Couldn't fault it. But above all else - if anything went pear shaped and interrupted the promised installation schedule, I got a call advising me of same. IOW - I was able to TRUST them. As far as I am concerned 12/10 underrates my experience with this company.

Highly recommended. I contacted Rory from Solar made simple half heartedly expecting an extremely high quotation and poor service as my experience of other similar companies. I couldn’t have been more wrong. Rory was fabulous from beginning to end. He personally looked after all parts of the job. It was supposed to be just adding additional panels to an existing system and get it working. However Rory removed all the panels, started from scratch ending up redoing an entire installation quickly professionally and honestly. He was very humble yet professional taking extreme care of my property as if it was his own. He took pride in his work and did a fantastic job. I highly recommend Solar made Simple if you want the best forget the rest.

THIEFS BEWARE DUE ME £1200! I am a honest Home removals and Pick up delivery company Van Demand Uk call us if need our service :) so was delivering solar panels for a number of jobs. Then they stopped paying we trusted them and then afterwards became clear delaying and no paymebts for 4x Deliveries throughout Yorkshire. So we are wage and fuel out of pocket and the value of job too. Im sure karma will have a way of balancing the people in this company who have theft from multiple people.

Paid my deposit and was given a date that never went ahead, they failed to apply for my G99 form three times and then wanted more money up front to secure my goods, I spent all my time chasing them when it should've been the other way round, I asked for my deposit to be returned in the end as it was becoming clear this was anything but Solar Made Simple.If you want solar fitting by these guys expect delays or do what I did and go with another company and get your install done in a few weeks.

This company took our deposit, plus £4000 to secure the price of the solar panels and we have been let down with job. This has taken 9 months to be told they cannot do the job... 10kw solar panel system with storage batteries. We are now left chasing them for over £7000. I do not recommend Solar Made Simple.

It appears this company has fallen on hard times and is unable to provide good quality customer service. After a good deal of research and obtaining 3 separate quotes, I decided to go with them - they weren't the cheapest but I liked their business. I paid my deposit back in May, and that's when the problems started. They asked for a substantial amount of money upfront to secure my products (alarm bells ringing), however there was a global shortage of products, so seemed like a good chance to 'avoid the hike' as they put it. Several months later they failed to turn up on the 1st install day. I chased them up and was given the excuse that they had no products (so surely they could've informed me they weren't turning up). We rescheduled for 2 weeks later, and again they failed to turn up without notification.I drove down to their offices to speak in person. I was surprised to find that the premises has no livery or signage whatsoever, not even a buzzer with the company name on. I located Rory and explained that I needed this job completing asap since it was already months overdue, and the scaffolding had been erected around my house weeks ago.A couple more failed appointments later the panels were finally installed (not the type that I was quoted for), and several weeks after that the battery was installed. The system was commissioned on the 10th August, however I am still awaiting the full paperwork including MCS certificate which is required to claim SEG payments, which is not forthcoming; and as another reviewer has posted - looks like I won't get it from them. I've raised this issue with the MCS governing body.Overall it took 4 months to get the system built, but I am still without the MCS certificate. Their website is blocked, so it looks like they can't afford to run it. Their facebook and twitter accounts haven't been updated in several months and have all comments deleted. Companies House has them showing as Account Overdue.I would steer well clear of this company until they are back on their feet, and hope any customers currently engaged are fully refunded, or end up with the system they have paid for.

We initially made contact with Solar made simple via Bark at the start of the year, before the energy price increases were due to take hold. Their quote was fair and their system suggestions suited us perfectly. We were ready and waiting for an agreed install date when we hit a big (supply) stumbling block, Rory and the team were very professional and honoured our initial quote whilst battling to ensure we had a timely install. We had a few hit and misses with keeping in contact to arrange dates but considering the sheer volume of interest in renewable energy in recent months and the battles these guys had to endure to get us the products, I think it can be forgiven. We’re over the moon with our plant and the system installed and would recommend these guys as their workmanship and integrity is incredible. Many thanks Rory and team

From the first call with Mark, the sales person, my experience has been positive. Rhys, Brett and Jamie were all very professional and polite throughout. Leaving me with a very tidy installation. Post installation has also been very professional and helpful right through to being told that I would be supported setting up the equipment when I switch to a more suitable tariff. Thank you Rory and Steven.I would most definitely recommend Solar Made Simple to anyone who may be researching their installation company for PV.

Really happy with our solar panels-Solar Made Simple we’re very helpful in all aspects-accommodating our available time for installing-helping us with installing the app (which I now look at every day just for the pleasure is seeing how it is doing!!!!)-a very professional and easy company to deal with plus added personal phone calls and emails-highly recommend. Also our bills are now really small -that makes me happy too in view of the future!!!!
