One of my favourite bakeries in London! Their croissants are amazing - although they are more dense as if whole-wheat flour was used. Can’t go wrong with any of their baked good. They also make quality coffee and have an incredible back patio and outdoor seating. Highly recommend!

Family and dog friendly bakery brunch spot that serves well crafted pastries and balanced coffees. Conveniently located minutes away from the overground station and London fields park. It gets busy very quickly and the queue builds up even outside the bakery. We were lucky to arrive just before peak time.

Wow what a great bakery! It does get busy on the weekend and the food does take awhile (30-45 minutes I’d say - but coffee did come after 10-15.. a little slow but..), so I’d recommend getting there around noon or even earlier. That being said, they use very high quality jersey milk for the milky coffees (oat if you require an alternative). The highlight for me though was the delicious scrambled eggs (w chili butter and chives), on sourdough toast, and a side sausage; simple yet one of the better brunches I’ve had here in London!

Rammed at the weekend and no longer worth waiting for. Used to be one of the few places in London that served excellent coffee and French-style croissants. Now doesn't do either that well. Anti-laptop on Saturdays and Sundays.

Some of the best sourdough bread and pastries (croissants, black sesame, and vegan cookies are standouts) in London! They mill their own flour and most things are locally sourced and organic! Breakfast and lunch dishes are reliably tasty (FYI bfast ends at 11:30 lunch ends and 3). They also roast their own coffee beans and it’s consistently good as well :)Appreciate their ethos of low waste!Lovely outdoor space and nice atmosphere! Can get very busy and pricey- but a place that’s worth it.

One of our favourite bakeries in London! Great atmosphere and big space being located under the viaducts at London Fields. All the goods are baked fresh daily, the butter and pain au chocolat croissants are our go-to. We love sitting on the back patio with a flat white and a croissant. The bakery is laptop friendly during the week. Highly recommend!

Came back after one decade.I bought pain au choco and apple turn over(for take away). But I just finished both then had another cardamon bun. I couldn’t stop to eat. Finished those in 20mins.Of course, everything is still good and I’m so happy to be here again.

I ordered bun, which contained caramelised red onion, halloumi, harissa, greens, sunny side up egg. It was quite good. Also had cappuccino; it’s light roasted coffee beans, so it had a slight sour taste.

finally managed to try e5 and was not disappointed! the pumpkin crumble cake was sooo yummy and moist. i had very little expectations for their sourdough roll but even after a few days (toasted!) it was one of the best sourdough i’ve had. chewy and the perfect amount of density on the inside, crispy on the outside. i want more!!
