I highly recommend this place, it has a variety of scrumptious foods and it's presentation was absolutely immaculate. Don't even get me started on the steak and the cheesecake. The steak was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. The creme brulee cheesecake had an amazing presentation and it just melted in my mouthThe service was a bit slow. Highly recommend getting steak and a pint.Thank you for this amazing establishment.

Lovely location with plenty of parking and outside space, to enjoy during summer. Well located and plenty of choice of food and drinks. Regular Porsche owners meeting which is very well attended

My husband and I had a wonderful birthday lunch yesterday! It's a lovely building and very comfortable. The menu caters for all needs and tastes. We had three courses which were plentiful and really tasty! Our server, Suki was helpful, polite, and made our special lunch one to remember. We will definitely return one Sunday for their famous roasts!Thank you all!v

Stayed in the Premier Inn next to the Fairmile and ate in there each night. Food was of excellent quality and well presented. Tried different main courses each night and wasn't disappointed with any of them. All of the staff were extremely helpful, and if you get Sean waiting on your table, you'll get well looked after.

Having been let down by another Chef & Brewer ( The Prince of Wales ) we were directed to the Fairmile. It's a lovely country set pub with plenty of parking & outside seating. Although we were unbooked we were quickly seated and our order taken. Food was great as expected & very filling. Our server was Jose who was attentive & entertaining. It was my first time here but I would highly recommend the Fairmile.

Sadly I was hoping for a lovely meal with my daughter and granddaughter but that wasn't the case. We sat their for 1h 7 minutes before anyone even came over to us. I then asked why the restaurant was so cold, and apparently they had no heating as it was broken, it was only 7° outside. We should have been informed of this before we even sat down. The restaurant was practically empty apart from a table of 10 who were already eating when we entered. We had not take service at all, but the party of 10 did.After asking why things were taking so long, we were informed they only had two staff working the restaurant that day, which surprised me, as the place is not small by any means. When the food arrived, it was mediocre at best, my smothered chicken was so hard I couldn't even cut it properly, it didn't get consumed in the end. I left most of my meal, as did my daughter and my granddaughter. We ended up leaving and went somewhere else for a quick bite.So all in all, £50 wasted, I may as well have given the money away to a stranger. We won't be returning.

We took an old friend to the Fairmile on 1st December. The starters were cold and before our friend had not even finished his cold soup, a waiter appeared and hovered over him to “ grab his bowl from him while he had his spoon still in his hand!!! On my left was another waiter with all our main dishes just standing there ready to serve. The main meal was plonked in front of us before we could digest the cold starter. My main meal was cold and oily. It was embarrassing for us to take our friend there. It was really nice the last time we went there a few years ago. But we won’t rush back. It’s a shame

This is a really nice venue. I first came here for a small organised car meet out on the green back in 2016, this time though (2023)I actually had food and drink inside.A decent menu, not too fussy but should cater for most I’d imagine with a good variety on offer.I had a steak and ale pie with chips and gravy, it should come with greens but I deleted those. I probably wouldn’t chose it again but it was ok. I’d go for something else next time, as others looked nice.Good attentive staff, and well done out inside.
