The Belfast Barge
Lovely, relaxing place to have lunch and a coffee on the Lagan. Food was very nice and there's a wee museum below deck.

Great venue and location. Went to see a local band play and it was great. Has a bar some snacks and good venue space on lower floor. Staff were nice and friendly.

Great idea bring your own drinks play your own music, toilets could do with a bit of attention but a great night was had by all for my daughters going away party.

Lovely place but Jesus would it kill yous to put some toilet seats in the bathrooms. It’s gross for women to have to sit on the cistern and no toilet seat. Especially since the place is freezing cold I October. Honestly won’t come back until that’s fixed.

wasn't the experience we'd hoped for. But we made the most of it and had a good time.

I am giving this 4 stars for two reasons o only. The young lady who was running the Coffee shop today and because of its location. The Belfast Barge is a non-profit organisation currently and has a lot going for it especially its staff who are professional and very friendly. We stopped by for some lunch today and had some Coffee, Sausage Rolls and Scones which just about covered its limited menu currently. Very Dog friendly with towels 'for wet feet' and free doggy snacks. Just on menu range alone I would have given only 2 stars but as already said the Staff member made our visit along with the uninterrupted views over the Lagan. Here's hoping menu range will be better for next visit.

Dropped in for coffee and a scone. Excellent coffee in an interesting environment. Took a tour of the museum on the lower deck which was very interesting.

I was helping two friends with their joint 50th. They’d rented the space downstairs. It was a fun night but I wouldn’t recommend the venue. There are no windows or outside space so it feels like a bunker (and has a distinctive barge smell too). We’d been told music had to finish at midnight and we had to be out by 0030. We’d got everyone on the dancefloor for the final song which had about a minute left to run when they turned the sound system off bang on the dot of midnight. If we’d been warned they were going to do that, we would have timed it very carefully. As it was, it left everyone feeling a bit deflated and frustrated.
