Turned up to look at vans. Tried to get attention for 5 mins left in the reception with no one attending to me at all. When someone finally did come they advised that the Lutons weren't kept on side but at a lockup a mile away.I asked if I could go see them up there and the gentleman said he was gonna see if someone could go up and have me follow them up to view.10 mins past without anyone coming yo update me so I just left.Very poor customer service.

I have been looking for a new van online and Eric & Richard at Vanstar were a great help throughout and have been so friendly, I live quite away from their site and they re-assured me that nothing was ever too much trouble and provided a fantastic service. I would highly recommend to everyone

What a cracking well presented site. Very clean and supported by friendly staff. Plenty of stock on site and they have a back up yard they are renovating, so there will be more stock to look at.

Why Cant all Purchases be as simple and stress free as buying from Van Star ?Initially I dealt with Jason who strolled me through the process of the purchase of the new Vehicle and Part ex of my old vehicle with ease and offering a VERY generous Part Ex figure for mine . All agreed job Done Thanks Jason .The handover was undertaken by Richard Saul.When somebody goes out of their way to physically stand and wait for your arrival at the entrance with a warm welcome and handshake you know you're in good hands , and that's exactly what Richard did. From start to finish he was honest , upfront, courteous, non pushy and professional a credit to Vanstar !I was in and out in 3/4 of an hour and left feeling relaxed and that I'd been given a great level of service. I bought a ford transit from Richard at van star (Wakefield) and I have had a very positive experience. I let a week to pass to properly decide what I think.They have wide selection of choice which instills confidence as soon as you arrive I was impressed because I live over 250 miles away in Plymouth Devon and when I travelled up, the van was exactly as described and in excellent working order, no funny surprises down to this day, I was driving away in my van within 5 days other companies said to me I would have to wait 8-9 days.Richard even sorted out my V5 form for me online, and just generally very reassuring and responsible, you get a sense of the quality to standards of the enterprise throughout the whole clean and tidy premises.They offered a very good warranty on my van. There was no fuss not complicated. I think they are a popular van supplier and they have a good standard they hold themselves too, and I think it is paying off for them. My experience and the van can only be described as 5-stars. I would travel to them again now they have earned my trust.

I was looking for another vehicle due to Bradford council clean air zone. I first contacted Leeds branch and talked to Guy who was very helpful to give me a good price for my Renault traffic van. I told what price I wanted and how much I could spend. I called around to look at Renault master . There was no pushy sales people. You could have a look at the vehicle's with nobody over your shoulder. I also went and had another look at a Renault master at the Wakefield branch too and again no pressure looking at this vehicle too. I spoke to Jason and explained I have come from the Leeds branch and explained how much I could spend. Who was not pushy let me have a look around on my own and even test drive the vehicle by myself.I decided purchased this Renault master. After a couple of weeks I had a slight issue with it. I Rang Van Star branch in Wakefield and spoke to Eric who got his mobile mechanic to come out and fix it and he sorted it out straight away.To be honest with you I really hate buying vehicles but it was a real pleasure working with van Star and when I'm after another vehicle I will definitely buy another vehicle from them and will recommend to anyone else
