Britannia Group deserves five stars for being the most professional letting agency I have ever employed whilst living in the UK. I am currently on my third year of renting a flat from them in the Withington area and I must say that I am truly impressed by their professionalism, friendliness, and eagerness to address any issues that have come up straight away. While I had dreadful experiences with other agencies before which never responded to matters of an urgent nature, with Britannia I feel assured than any problem will be fixed in no time and that has been a major relief and bonus. Five stars for sure!

Very impressed with this company. Rented a 2 bed flat for 2 years before I bought a house. When I moved in there were two new mattresses, hob, oven and washing machine!!! Accommodation was professionally cleaned before handing over to me and the communal areas were cleaned regularly. Incident of local yobs kicking in communal entrance door but this was replaced straight away with a substantially stronger one. As promised during the viewing, all other residents in my building were professionals. They were very flexible with my moving out date (which kept changing) and not once did I feel like they were forcing me out. Emails were replied to promptly and any issues were sorted within appropriate timeframes. Overall I would say it was the best renting experience I’ve had with a Landlord!!!

My experience as a flat tenant in a developement owned by Britannia group in Withington is definitely worthy of five stars. It has been more than two years now, and every single time there has been an issue it has been dealt with promptly and efficiently regardless of urgency. There is a high level of responsiveness and flexibility hard to find in properties managed by letting agencies and all Britannia Group staff I have been in contact with throughout our stay have consistently proven to go the extra mile. Besides our flat, the whole development is well taken care of. Very kind and caring people, having lived in three other flats as a tenant in the UK this has been by far my best experience. Overall, highly recommended.

Landlord asked to visit for a flat inspection 2 weeks before Christmas, was angry that 2 young professionals were unable to meet, during office hours, 2 weeks before Christmas. I booked a day off work to meet them, they never showed up, then when I sent an email asking them to fix some minor issues, were served a section 21 along with another flat in the building. No reason was given or option for us to pay more. They put the rent up less than £100 each without the option for us to increase our rent, and brought painters round and began viewings without our permission before we'd ended our tenancy. Incredibly unprofessional, would never work with this company again

I purchased a new property in Stockport from Britannia Group. I lived in the property myself for a year before renting it out as a long-term investment.A particular mention to Catherine who made the sales progression process smooth and dealt with any snags after I moved in quickly. There have been no major issues to report and I would buy from Britannia Group again.

I rented a flat in Didsbury from Britannia Group. I didn’t pay any agency fees during the tenancy application process which was a refreshing approach. I initially signed up for a 6 month term but ended up staying a lot longer. The property I rented was in a block wholly owned by Britannia Group so I was dealing directly with the landlord which made things easier. They assured me the flats in the building were only rented out to professional tenants and this was definitely the case. The building’s communal areas were cleaned weekly & the shared garden area was tended to on a monthly basis. Maintenance issues were dealt with promptly. I moved out as I bought my own house and they were flexible with my move out date as I wasn’t 100% sure when the property sale was going to complete. When I moved out they worked with me to ensure the property was left in the right condition so I could get my entire deposit returned. Overall I was very happy with the experience.

I have purchased two investment properties from Britannia Group which they manage on my behalf. I have always found them to be a professional company to deal with. The upkeep and maintenance of my properties is always top notch. The property management service is good value for money too. Shout out to Ibrahim for setting an excellent standard!

We rented with Britannia for 4 and a half years and they've been the best landlord we've ever had. Maintenance issues were responded swiftly and our Britannia contact was always approachable, realistic and helpful. The flat was absolutely lovely throughout our tenancy and if we ever found ourselves in need of renting again, we would go back to Britannia in a heartbeat.

Having acquired a property from Britannia Group i have to say i found the whole experience extremely enjoyable.They were courteous and professional and dealt with some small snags i encountered efficiently and quickly. I look forward to upgrading from my apartment to a house in the near future from them.

AVOID!!! AVOID!!! AVOID!!!WOULD RATE 0 IF I COULD!Myself and my friend tried to rent a flat from them. We are both working, I earn 26.5k a year and he works part time while at uni with full student loan and a guarantor for the rent. Even with all this, they asked for a second guarantor for myself to rent the property, regardless of my wage and job security. It was obvious from the start they didn't want us to live there and had someone else lined up from the message that states we have various other people who want to live here". They only allow people who have band 5 credit scores to live in their properties. As I wasn't a band 5 they wanted 2 months rent in advance from me and then 2 months rent from my friend also even though he had the guarantor. These are unrealistic credentials and amounts of money they are expecting to rent a property."
