Great shop, appalling shopkeeper. Myself and my partner and friends were looking at some bits and my partner noticed their was a burst fidget ball, which had been put back in the wrong place by another customer, instead of ignoring it and leaving it to leak on the shelf my partner thought he would hand it to the man behind the counter, we had chosen a couple of items each which we planned to buy. Instead of thanking my partner, the arrogant man behind the counter said ‘that’s what happens when people pick them up and squeeze them, were you going to actually buy them’ my partner said no and the man then asked us why we’d picked it up, what a stupid question we’re in a shop…He then immediately proceeded to accuse of us popping it and questioned us as to whether or not we were going to purchase it, he could not have been ruder. We proceeded to inform him that we were going to put the items we’d chosen back and he encouraged us to do so. I’d suggest that he get some lessons in customer service and then possibly a personality transplant, if you’re looking for a way to get rid of customers make sure to have that complete waste of space at the front of shop. It’s a real shame that I have to give 1 star because that’s far too many.

id say 'britains largest joke shop' in size & tbh its not that big! large selection of theatrical masks & wigs but most are outdated, party gear too,i was quite excited tbh & made a beeline to the shop when i arrived only to be very disappointed by the lack of items especially jokes on sale, i was looking for stink bomb phials but alas none or even more traditional jokes but most of them took up the best part of two small stands, id say the shop is more of a gift shop than joke shop & should cease with the 'best in england' title

Would prefer zero rating. Appalled that a joke shop that’s attractive to little children is selling weapon style knives and Samarai looking swords. It’s not plastic, they are £99. None are kitchen utensils. There’s noone on door checking small kids don’t wander in without parents or even to area marked adults only and there’s notthing outside telling parents they must supervise kids.Very very far from being a joke shop.

The shopkeeper ruined the whole experience. He is an arrogant, bald, and disgusting man that has no respect for any of his customers. He was incredibly rude to my son when he was trying to pay with his pocket money and the shop keeping gave him no time and was incredibly rude. My son ended up crying after his rudeness and left without getting his toy because he felt too embarrassed and belittled to talk to the horrible shop keeper. Do not work in customer service with attitude like that. Embarrassing little man. Also his salmon shorts were not only unflattering but also dirty.

This was always a go to shop since my childhood. But when I went in today I must admit I was disgusted that they actually sell knives. Not really funny. With the knife crime going on these days , they shouldn't be sold let alone in a joke shop

Been going here for years since I was a child. We go every year while on holiday in Hunstanton. Got a range of things for sale. Definitely worth a trip.

I’ve been coming to this joke shop for many years whilst on family holidays and I’d love to see it turn back the clock and sell the weird, whacky and sometimes controversial jokes/toys & gags that it used to. It’s become very tourist tack and much more like all other typical tourist souvenir shops where you see the same old key rings. This place used to be my highlight of Hunstanton. Go back to 1995.

A big claim to be the largest but worth a look.
