Needed a run-around car for the winter dog walks. Stephen really spent the time to make sure we ticked all the boxes with the car we were buying. Can’t fault the service (or the car).

Brought my sons first car here back in September, the price was was very good. Also great service and very friendly guy who we spoke with.

Visited this garage and test drove a car. In the end I didn't buy the car (the car seemed good but I found another deal). The owner, Craig, was straight forward and wasn't pushy. He followed up the following day and when I said I wasn't going to go ahead he was polite and thanked me for the interest.

Just bought a VW Golf 2010 for a good price (3.5 k) Drives well, good condition. Graig was friendly, not pushy and let me take my time looking it over and test driving. There was an issue getting the rear wiper to come on, which he fixed on the spot by checking the fuse, it just needed re-inserting. We will be giving the gear stick a good grease, and giving the car engine oil a change, checking fluids and general once over for some TLC now as is needed with all old cars, but overall very happy with my experience and purchase. Graig also helped me do my road tax online before I left.

I recently purchased a lovely mini for my daughter from HWG Cars.The customer service was fantastic and the sales team helped us find the perfect car for my daughter who is returning to university this month.No pressure sales when we visited, which was fantastic. The car came with 12 months M.O.T. and service carried out. The Mini drives very well and my daughter is over the moon with her purchase.I would definitely recommend HWG Cars.Thanks alot guys.

Such a bizarre experience. Avoid at all costs if you can.Asked if I could test drive two cars which the salesman initially agreed to then after the first test drive (also should note the car had no fuel and had the service light flashing when I drove it which he told me to “ignore”)when asked if I could drive the second car the salesman then said “I’ve already got the paperwork out for this car - why would you want to test drive the other one? This one seems fine”.He actually wouldn’t let me test drive the other car. Which is a bit bizarre.And when I asked for a service history of the car I HAD driven he told me he had “bought the car off a friend of a friend” and that “he does the servicing but he’s not a mechanic” (amazing).The last official service date that could be found was 2018. But not to stress, his friend of a friend (whom he didn’t know) had “definitely serviced it”. It was embarrassing watching him fumble around with the paperwork trying to find a recent service history (that didn’t exist). You just felt sorry for the poor bloke. No wonder his car yard is full - he can’t sell any.

Saw Craig for a first time car for my daughter, he was most helpful and informative . Not pushy in any way , was happy to let us test drive and great in answering all questions as well as adding further useful information . Although we did not buy from him as found one closer to home , he was very gracious and genuinely happy for us . Would definitely go back if we need anything in the future, and would highly recommend him and his business. Thank you again
