A truly excellent barbers. Went there last week for my first haircut over the pandemic and it was probably the best cut I've ever had. Firstly they only take 1 person at a time to practice social distancing and they are clearly following the hygiene rules stringently. As actual barbers - Emma was fantastic, cut my hair perfectly, was great to talk to and even put some nice natural products into my hair. Would highly recommend her as she was really skilled and had great customer service.

I’d been looking for a decent barbers whilst working in Windsor, preferably without going into London. Kieran is an excellent barber. He does a great job with my hair. He has also made some recommendations on styling products and always has a good line of chatter whilst cutting my hair. The online appointments system is also very good. Highly recommended!

A nice little barber shop tucked away in the main town of Eton. The owners are the hairdressers who are professional and ever so friendly. They make you feel like they are there for you.Bookings can be made online, which is easy, and once you're booked, then you are the high priority.Prices are reasonable at normal salon prices. You won't get ripped off here.

Five star quality.Having had my haircut here for over a year, I can confidently say this is the best barbers (hair salon) I have ever been to. Lewis and Emma are friendly, expertly trained, being highly skilled hair stylists, with Lewis offering great skills to groom a beard.They also offer an amazing range of products available for men - Lewis has introduced me to various high end yet affordable hair and beard products... they smell incredible too.Their online booking service is easy to use with calendar reminds being sent to ensure you don't forget your appointment. There is also a chance to reschedule and cancel your appointment online if required. I find it very easy to use as I often pay before I attend my appointment, as Paypal is an option through their website making the whole process easier.The beautiful traditional property in which Thaxter&Stovell is situated is very clean with a real Etonian vibe, making the experience that more enjoyable. I really love their seasonal decoration as well, their attention to detail is second to none.I cannot recommend this barbers/salon enough. You shan't be disappointed. Thank you Emma and Lewis.

Have had my haircut 3 times from here, best Barber in Eton/Windsor, each by a different barber. All were excellent. The booking system works brilliantly. I used to go to Headcase in Windsor however this is a much better experience and feel far more relaxed.

I have been coming to get my haircut here for a few years. The appointment system works very well and all the staff I have ever met have been very nice and hospitable. I usually see Kieran and he has never let me down with both his barbering skills and great conversation.

Great barber shop. My first visit today and definitely not the last one. Had a hair cut and beard trimming and shaping with Aaron - honestly this chap know exactly what he is doing and I'm really pleased with the result. Awesome! Money well spent. Also this shop is a very cute place in the heart of Eton with a nice atmosphere and music. Very relaxing. Well deserved 5*
