Cheyne Walk Orthodontics

Excellent all round. We have 3 girls all needing braces. One of the girls was referred first by our dentist well over 2 years ago and has only now just seen an orthodontist close to home. The other girls were referred along time after and have had their braces fitted for a while now at Cheyne Walk. We were very concerned about what we were told at the recent appointment elsewhere so we contacted Cheyne Walk for a 2nd opinion because we felt very comfortable with them. An appointment was made very quickly to help us and we had excellent advice and are now sorting out a referral to Cheyne Walk despite the 3 hour round trip.

Used to be a really good and reliable private dentist in the heart of Northampton town but now I’ve sadly been informed that DR Mark B. Has retired and now they are only doing orthodontic treatment. Apparently the only dentist they currently have cannot do dentures or bridges which is unusual in itself ! Very disappointed and sad to hear that I cannot now continue my treatment with Dr Mark!! I had a bridge planned …Also, the receptionist is very unreliable, unhelpful and rude!!

My son was referred to this orthodontists and we are so happy he was. He has only had one appointment so far but from the moment he arrived into the building Julie the manager made him feel at ease and was extremely friendly and reassuring that he knew he was in good hands. Since this appointment I have had to ring the practice several times and on every occasion my queries which were sometimes longwinded were always dealt with in a friendly and very helpful manner by Julie. She is a credit to the team.

Both of my children have now completed their treatment and have perfect teeth. Covid restrictions aside, they have had a smooth journey with braces and I am appreciative of the care and professionalism shown. They were very accommodating in helping to arrange appointments around work commitments too where possible. Thank you.

Horrible service. Would give 0 stars if I could. Do not go here. My dentist referred me to this orthodontist a while ago and my first appointment seemed promising. Despite the eery feeling of the place, I had an X-Ray, 3D scan of my teeth and pictures. They then said I need to wait until a different orthodontist reviews my case and they will call me if I’m eligible for braces in around 2 months, this seemed a bit strange but I didn’t question it as this was my first appointment regarding braces. I waited for around 2 months or so and they called me and told me they will book me in for an appointment. They then cancelled the appointment a few days before and said the orthodontist isn’t available and said they will call me back to book me in for a new appointment in two weeks. Never called back and ignored me. I heard stories about this place and how they only provide you with good service if you are private and this seems to be true. I now go to a different orthodontist who fitted me with braces on the first appointment I had with him and I’m very happy with his service. So again, DO NOT GO HERE!!

Very happy with the care and service we receive from Cheyne Walk Orthodontics after my son was referred for a brace on the NHS by our local dentist in Daventry. I would change my other son to this place if I could, but we've already started the NHS treatment for his brace elsewhere. Also received some good advice from the helpful manager.

Had my kid done his braces here. As the treatment for braces lasts to about 18months you are ought to visit the clinic multiple times. They always welcome you with a smile and you will just love the way they comfort you.

We have been so happy with The Cheyne walk orthodontist. My son was really nervous before his appointment,but as soon as we arrived Julie (practice manager) was so friendly and put my son's mind at ease. We haven't been seen since as we are on a waiting list but every time we ring to see if there is updates Julie talks us through where we are in the process.
