Bearcat Comedy At The Turks Head | One of London's longest comedy clubs manages to attract some of the best names on the circuit. Also on the plus side, there is a proper stage (which, for some reason seems to have a serving hatch in the side) and a very friendly atmsophere. Bar to midnight

Had an amazing laugh at the Bearcat. Incredible performances - 5 in total, so great value for money!! Highly recommend this place for a drink and a well-organised show with a highly talented line-up.

Comedy was funny however it was very stop start, ie there would be an act for 15 minutes then have a break for 10 minutes. I understand if people want to get a drink or go for a smoke but if you aren’t doing either it was a bit tedious. Like I say though the acts were funny and the venue wasn’t bad either.

Very good comedians. 3 on the bill turned into 5 on the night, then 6 when Jason Manford turned up at the end to do an extra set. All great standard, well worth seeing all of them. Lots of breaks between acts is the only minor quibble but overall a great evening.

I went to one of the new early start Covid shows with limited audience members. It still works. The comedians were excellent, the atmosphere was good and you get drinks brought to your chair. What's not to like?

Great line up of established and up-and-coming comedians. We saw five comedians for just £20.Seating limited so queue early to get a seat, otherwise stand on the edge. Pub itself is very nice too for pre and post drinks.

Absolutely loved the Bearcat Comedy Club at the Turks Head in Twickenham. Loved the venue - traditional pub which was busy before the event - we didn't eat but the food looked good. The show was in a separate room which was like a vintage village hall. It was lovely. There's a bar in the hall, sit where you like seats, the stage is small and intimate but the whole thing works perfectly. Amazing atmosphere and host, the comedians were fab on our night and I just can't fault it. If we didn't live 250 miles away we'd be there every week. Best twenty quid I've spent in a looooong time. Go if you can, it's a tonic for the soul.

Great local comedy club. 4 to 5 acts per evening. Attached to the pub, so convenient for late drinking if you want to carry the evening on. 2 minute walk from St Margarets station.

For £20 you’ll see 4 top notch comedians.It’s a scout hut behind attached to a pub, has a bar at the back.It’s hard to define what makes a good comedy club good but this place has it.Magic can happen here.

I've been a few times to The Bearcat in St Margaret's - the acts are normally very good, with the occasional clanger - that's all part of the fun. It's a great club, nice atmosphere and sometimes the evenings are belters.

I've hit the age where a comedy club is way more favourable than any night club. The Turks Head pub is a splendid place with decent Ales and Ciders on tap and the coolest ceiling decor you seen in a while (it gets even better when you hear how it's created!). Food was top notch in the pub and set us up for a night of drink and laughter. We saw 5 acts and all of them were spot on. Will most definitely be back. If you've never been to a comedy club this would be a fantastic intro.
