Rivington Terraced Gardens
I went to a special event on my visit so perhaps not best placed to comment more generally. However, the event that I attended was extremely well organised and well worth the visit. The volunteers here have clearly done a fabulous job in making the gardens special. This is a real hidden gem.

A nice place to visit. The route is easy to walk . The view on top of the mountain is wonderful.

Beautiful. So many path to walk there ! Comfy shoes, drink and food and you can easily spend there few hours or full day just wandering.

Every time we turned a corner here we all just said wow" there really is a lot to see! From the gardens to the lakes and the amazing buildings!!! You could spend hours here exploring! The good thing is that there is a cafe to get a cuppa (it's just at the top of the hill!)"

Fantastic Historic place to have a walk up to,just please make sure you wear the correct clothing & Especially correct footwear ie Walking shoes or Boots ideally.

Great walk. all uphill at first its a hard one if your not fit. like me.but go anyway you will enjoy it. Didn't see much it was too misty so will go back on a clearer day.
