Busy, friendly climbing wall. Staff are helpful and knowledgable.Plenty of routes for climbers of all skill levels including the mini works for mini climbers.Cafe has a good selection of drinks and snacks as well as all the alternative milks for any of you diary frees :-)

It may look less swanky than the Depots and Hangars of the climbing world but the terrain variety is fantastic and the setting is the most enjoyabley technical of just about any gym I've ever been to. If you wanna get prepared for the outdoors and become a better climber on a technical level you can't do much better than here.

It was my first time here and it was great! Everyone was nice and super friendly! Hopefully I will be back soon!

Excellent bouldering center, a huge amount of problems that get changed regularly, with a good range of difficulties and enough to keep beginners like myself interested! Lovely staff and the community is really helpful.

Lovely friendly indoor bouldering venue which hires out bouldering pads to boot for easy distance outdoor bouldering to move on to in nice weather. On site parking and small shop inside. Recommended AAAA+++++

My first visit with the grandchildren during school holidays 6 & 8 yrs . They absolutely loved it. My granddaughter has been on a climbing wall before on holiday but not my grandson ( who has very little confidence ) he’s actually asked to go back next week !! I found it quite relaxed we was all able to have a drink and a snack whilst there ( not overly expensive either ) I thought the climbing and shoe hire cost good value for money and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. We will most definitely be returning

Took my son aged 4. He can be quite shy but he really enjoyed it. They’re very friendly and accommodating. He loves going up the wall and back down the slide, several times!

What a gym this is! We had a bit of a nightmare as after being away for a few days, my other half had taken all our climbing gear out of the car by mistake ... Except an old pair of my daughter's climbing shoes. So we got here and she got to work .. mini climbing works for shorter people is brilliant. Awesome concept. Delivered well and the setting is next level. Technical and forces kids to learn to climb with good technique if they want to progress. Main climbing area for better climbers is superb. Great comp wall and training area plus lots of very challenging problems, which are once again of a superb standard in terms of problem setting. One of the best centres I've been to for setting. It's old skool vibe and not as clean and polished as the chain centres but don't let that out you off if you are new. You'll find lots of great easier problems too and fantastic coffee to boot! Also a shop on site for shoes merch etc. Top notch. Parking can be a bit tight.

Took our 4 year old to the Mini Works and he loved it. Lots of climbs for little ones, they're happy for you to take food along for them and there's snacks / drinks to buy. You pay an annual membership, a few quid for your first time assessment and then just the cost for the little one. Friendly staff, great atmosphere albeit a bit grim (as are most old school gyms) but I suppose it's part of its charm and identity and certainly isn't a detriment to the experience there. It has everything you would want and isn't missing any modern features. However, the grading system makes me want to bag my head against the wall, especially coming from a gym that uses the widely adopted Hueco V-scale". I will admit that you do get used to it eventually but it was a bit of a put off at first (Hence the 4 stars) The boulders were very technical and required a lot of strength. Several of which knocked me on my arse even 2-3 grades below my max. Definitely a challenge! All in all
