Blue Banana Newport

I hate to leave this review because every time I have been to this location for piercings and other things I’ve had nothing but good quality service and products. I recently bought a piece of jewellery from this location (septum jewellery). I have worn this jewellery twice for less than a few hours. Today I took it out to change it back to my original horse shoe bar only to find the jewellery was made of copper and painted to look like real metal. The jewellery has caused severe pain to my septum and has turned my skin on my nose green. I am extremely disappointed with this as it wasn’t cheap (£8 for the one piece of jewellery). Unless this is sorted unfortunately I will not be returning to this store again. The only reason this review has two starts is because of the amazing customer service I received.

All the staff who work here are super nice and attentive. Special shout out to Tee who I’ve visited twice for piercings and is super lovely, professional and a skilled piercer!

I want to say a HUGE thank you to Tee for being absolutely lush, so friendly and welcoming whilst doing my daughters belly button piercing yesterday on her 14th birthday! He was an absolute professional and perfectionist and made me and my daughter feel super comfortable during the whole process. I 100% recommend him for all of your piercing needs. The lady who served us was super friendly too, fantastic customer service from all in store !!!

This afternoon I had my septum pierced and the whole experience was amazing, start to finish! Exceptional customer service throughout and the aftercare advice was fab. This was my first piercing at Blue Banana and I won't hesitate to visit again for future piercings, I highly recommend! Thanks again team x

Had my belly button pierced today (23/05/23) absolutely amazing piercer (I’m pretty sure it was Tom)was very kind and made me feel welcomeThe place is Very clean and professionaldefinitely recommend this place for piercing can’t wait to come back for more piercings!

My daughter decided she wanted her ears pierced for the first time. As an avid fan/wearer of body piercings I told my daughter she would have to have them pierced with a needle not a gun.When we arrived all the staff were so lovely and welcoming. The lady that served us was so lovely helping my daughter pick out her earings. There was a bit of a wait, however they have a great system of sending a text to let you know when they are ready.A lady called Amy was the piercer that day and she was absolutely amazing with my daughter, and gave her stickers for being so brave. As we were leaving the lady at the cash desk gave my daughter some sweets for brave.Absolutely fabulous staff! I couldn't recommended them highly enough. Thank you for being so helpful and kind. Amazing!

They took really good care of me (especially Tom). Pierced really well amd looked so good. Staff are so lovely. They even sang happy birthday for me haha.

Really friendly staff and efficient process for piercings. Staff were lovely throughout the process. Very very clean!! I was really surprised with how clean it was in there. Would definitely return again. Only lost a star due to the price being a tad on the high side. However, I do realise there is a cost to maintaining their certifications and cleanliness so would pay again regardless
