Whilst visiting Loch Lomond National Park and Balloch Castle we visited here as the eating options were limited. From the start the cafe was an arena of chaos. There were no social distancing and people were running all over the place. We had a group of 22 people and they were unsuccessful in both taking our orders properly and seating us. The staff were utterly rude and unwelcoming and behaved us if they were giving us free hand outs despite us paying ridiculous prices for a sandwich!The food was mediocre, nothing wow for a sandwich and nothing I would pay £5.80 for! If your in the area best avoid and try the fish and chips shop near the car park.

Extremely poor service! Waited half an hour to get menus at the table. Then after ordering waited another half an hour for drinks. The coffee is one of the worst we’ve ever had. Waited another 15 minutes for food and had to ask the waitresses and our food was ready and just getting cold. The food was about the same quality you would expect from a hospital or school cafeteria. The sausage roll was almost inedible, not sure how food like this is allowed to be served. Overall, was not a good experience which is a shame as the location is quite promising. Definitely left wanting more. Save your money and time and try somewhere else.

Decent cafe in a great location, good service, lovely cakes, we didn't sample any other food apart from cake, but I'm sure it's great, also good coffee & great service.

Lynn welcomed us and was a Ray of Sunshine around the Cafe! Nothing was too much trouble, friendly helpful and professional a real asset to the business.Lovely Decaff flat white and delicious cakes!Thanks for cheering up our day!

The staff here are really lovely! We needed to feed my baby sister and it was approaching closing time but they were very understanding and weren't rushing us out at all. They have very nice sweet things to go with tea and coffee.There is a modern interior and outside seating available as well. I would highly recommend this cafe to anyone. The menu has a wide selection of lunch items and there are lots of soft drinks and some hard drinks. They also serve Thornton's ice cream and sell Thornton's chocolates.Card payments and contactless are available here. Reasonable prices on items as well.

Terrible staff waited 20 minutes and still weren't served. Then as soon as we were leaving we decided to hand over the menus and say that it was ridiculous how long we waited to be served. Then! She had the AUDACITY to not even look whilst we were talking! DO NOT COME HERE! Unless you want to wait 2 hours for a toastie.

Not great all round. The food was really poor quality for the price, the staff disinterested and the atmosphere non-existent. My burger was tiny, but in a massive bun and came with tortilla chips, which was really odd and no option to swap to chips or a salad. £3.99 for a flat white was a joke, especially when it was watery and tasted very sharp.Should’ve gone for the salt & chilli chicken van in the courtyard, looked way better, smelled great and was reasonably priced.

Awful food, the unfortunate combination of expensive and low quality. No doubt you are paying for the location with alternate options being limited. I still expected more. I find it really disappointing how easily places like this could offer something unique or decent to bring people in, but they've made a conscious decision to cheap out. Service was slow. Overpriced, very small, tasteless coffee. Way too expensive for what it is.
