I spent over a year working on my album with Tom at Blackhill Studios. He is incredibly knowledgeable and great to work with. He spent a huge amount of time perfecting and getting my album sounding the way I wanted it and involved me in the process all the way through. His passion for his job is inspiring and he has put a lot of time, money and effort in to purchase software and equipment to suit any artists needs. I recommend choosing Blackhill if you want top quality recordings (surely what every artist would want right?)

Tom is amazing! I absolutely love my studio days with him. He's great to be around and the results are always spot on because he really listens to what you want and soooo knows what he's doing. I'm always getting told how great the production on my tracks is- just one of the reasons I come back back again and again.

I booked Blackhill Studios as a 14th birthday present for my son Jacob to record his drums on a couple of tracks. Tom was absolutely brilliant from start to finish with Jacob. He was professional yet laid back and made Jacob and myself feel totally at ease. He clearly has high level technical knowledge but was also able to give us advice and guidance about the music industry and Ideas and contacts for Jacob for his future development. Tom had created two skeleton tracks for Jacob to lay the drums over and spent time putting them together to create an authentic and professional sound. He worked with Jacob to allow him the freedom to create his own music but was also able to offer suggestions as a producer to improve the sound and the overall finished product. Overall I would highly recommend Tom and Blackhill studios. Many thanks for a great day!
