Unmanned halt of a station.Ticket machine on the county (southbound) side platform only. No disabled access between platforms, but as it's unmanned, you can't board from this station anyway because the guards dont want to put the ramp down for you.There is no shelter from the weather and the platform is barely wide enough for 2 to pass.

Three star station because this is rather isolated. The area is heavy on industry.There are homes and shops, they're about ten minutes away.Buses are available but, it's off the beaten track a bit so check a timetable.

Hilsea is located in the Hilsea area of Portsmouth, the station is served by Southern and Southwest Trains, with additional services provided by Great Western Railways. Hilsea is among one of my favourite stations, it's clean, most trains stop here, announcements are clear, the station is up to date and the neighbourhood is quiet.

Quiet, unmonitored station. Not as much service as Cosham, I've found, however, not a bad alternative as the two stations can be walked between within a reasonable time. More cover than neighbouring stations too.

Got The Train from Chichester to check out the Toby Carvery Hilsea also known as the green farm and I was shocked and disgusted by the place, it was horrific, the staff were so rude and arrogant and the manager had a outburst of profanity swore at me and called me a Old man, 66 is hardly old these days, I haven’t even retired, I certainly won’t be coming back to the area of Hilsea or The Toby Carvery not a good experience

Small unmanned train station, not much sheltered space in case of bad weather. Announcements are clear, and trains arrive mostly on time.The placement of the station is a little odd, not very close to shops, but handy for visiting Northern Portsmouth nonetheless

Small, unmanned, unkempt station. Next to no cover if it rains, and if you are there late a large chunk of the trains will only open one door to stop people getting on. I'd rather walk up to Cosham than use this station, and in fact have, several times.

Nice small station. Service is good from here. Even u can get connections for other cities easily. The thing I didn’t like is less shelters for bad weather.
