Used Akar Taxis over the festival weekend and they offered an excellent service. We pre-booked as we knew how busy the weekend would be. They turned up on time each day and each driver was friendly and helpful. We were very impressed and appreciated the excellent service so we could enjoy the festival and not worry about getting there and back each day.

I was quoted £25 to fishbourne, the gentleman who picked me and my children up was a nice enough man but told me he was taking the scenic route, to which I said as long as that doesn't mean it will cost me more and he then tried to charge me £5 more!I've since had a very polite response from the company and they assure me this isn't usual and I except this. The lady I spoke to when booking the taxi was lovely, and the taxi did arrive on time.

Cannot fault Akar Taxis at all. We used them for the Isle of Wight Festival in 2022 having used several other firms (unsuccessfully) in the past. The service received really was outstanding - prompt at responding to enquiries, extremely helpful, friendly and professional driver and, most importantly, always there to pick us up spot on time! We will most certainly be using again in the future - thank you!

Akar Taxis save the day! We were cycling around the Isle of Wight when my son's rear wheel locked up over the bank holiday weekend. I was worried about how we could get back to the ferry! 2 kids bikes, 2 adults bikes loads of camping gear and us. The lady on the phone understood the situation, the driver in the minibus was excellent and made what could have been a stressful situation into a great experience. Can't thank you enough!
