Very bad experience with this firm. I engaged them earlier this year for the sale of my property and purchase of a new property. The solicitor I was assigned initially was incredibly disorganised and told me reassuring things such as I've left your file in my car" when I called for an update.Unfortunately my sale fell through and ultimately my purchase did as well. It was agreed that I would sell the searches to the new buyer. In that time the original solicitor had left and another person was dealing with this. She arranged the sale and told me that their finance team/person would be arranging for the money to be paid to me. I have never received this despite numerous emails asking for an update. I called the office to speak with someone and was simply transferred to a full voicemail inbox.I emailed them at the end of November to say that I was lodging a claim with the small claims court to recover the money

Effective, efficient and friendly service. If you need a solicitor, then this is the practice you need to go to.Highly recommended.

Outstanding services were provided to me on separate occasions by both Sacha Carey, specialising in employment law, and Kathryn Rhodes who helped my partner and I when buying our first property. I would personally avoid Rowberrys Solicitors due to the lack of communication and professionalism I received whilst trying to buy a house. The house purchase should have been straight forward with no chain either side and nothing to complicated it seemed. In total it took 6 months. I was passed from solicitor to solicitor at the firm without even being told that the previous solicitor had left. I found out through bounced emails and through reviews by others. I put a formal complaint in to the partners back in July and was meant to have been contacted by Stirling in August regarding my complaint - I am still waiting. I will take the matter further to the ombudsman. Additionally I am aware that several other people have had the same issues as me. I would personally avoid in the future, however I would like to thank Sharjeela who was very helpful towards the end.

I cannot recommend Kathy Rhodes enough: She is an excellent Solicitor with an eye for detail and the ability to explain complicated matters in simple English. Kathy has advised and guided me through a stressful house sale and purchase. She worked out of hours to accommodate me and has always had a cheerful and professional demeanor.I would not trust anyone else with my legal affairs.
