End of the public road in Glenshero. Good parking area and nice spot for a picnic beside the river, so long as the midgies are not too bad! You can walk or cycle up the Glen following the old General Wade military road.

1982 i came across this road and completed it on A Suzuki GS550ecn with pillion and camping gear , i walked across in 2005The section at fort augustos had overgrown but bridges across the rivers and bothies had been builtThe 1982 crossing was fun walking across with my gear above waist height to keep it dry then going back for the bike ,good times
