First bike shop in my life I've walked in with every intention of buying a bike sadly there's no one on the till or trying to help, I've been twice today and I've only seen mechanics in there workshop

I phoned ahead to check they had what I needed in stock and check the opening times. They said the shop closed at 7pm but when I arrived at 1850 the shop was closed and there is a sign with opening times that says they close at 6pm! Bit disappointed to have been told wrong info and wasted a journey.

Booked a service in store. Guy in workshop was very friendly and even helped make minor adjustments straight away. Would recommend

I had a bad experience of Evans Cycles that was fixed by Isaac, one of the mechanics at the Sheffield shop, who was clear, kind and dedicated to helping me out. He sorted out a refund issue for me and my family that took several days. Evans was a very frustrating and difficult company to deal with in my experience but Isaac personally made sure everything worked out. I was surprised to discover he wasn't a manager at the shop given his commitment to customer service and dedication to going the extra mile! I hope Evans rewards excellent staff like Isaac.

After breaking my derailer on a brand new bike i was fairly upset but luckily enough the staff at Evans Cycles have amazing customer service, i’d like to especially point out Issac for being an absolute gem and putting in 100% effort in fixing my bike, even ringing up other stores nearby in attempts to get a part that was needed so i could get it back same day. Nothing to fault with this store and outstanding service from Issac.

I purchased my bike from Evans in Dec 2019. The service was excellent from James. I’ve visited the store a few times since most recently in Feb 2023. Most recently I was looked after by George. The staff at this store are very knowledgeable, friendly and really take their time to explain things to you. Definitely recommend this store.

Disappointed. The good, The store was fantastic. The bad, my Daughter ordered a bike was told either the following Wednesday or Saturday for delivery to store. No email by the Saturday. Phoned evans. After a lengthy phone call I later received a voicemail advising that the the bike order was not yet picked, with no estimated delivery. So they have my daughters money and we have no idea of when she is getting the bike.managed to get even worse! Another week, more calls, another trip to the shop , no bike, 2 - 5 days for a refund, a total joke. The staff whilst polite were unhelpful.

I bought my Raleigh motus through Evans Sheffield. Unfortunately I had a number of issues with the bike. It was delivered from the warehouse to my house (rather than pick up from the Sheffield shop floor). Some of the issues experienced were due to it not being set up properly from the warehouse (the battery mount fixture wasn’t fitted properly and the battery had intermittent issues so they clearly hadn’t checked it properly before sending it out for delivery). However when I brought it in to the Sheffield branch shop, they were always very helpful and managed to diagnose and fix the issues. So my experience has been mixed. I would rate the guys in the shop 5 stars but I’ve given 4 due to the issues I received from the bike delivery. Isaac Butterworth in the Sheffield branch has been particularly helpful, he always goes above and beyond with great customer service and bike knowledge.

Can I give 6 stars to the guys in the shop??? They are absolutely amazing, friendly, and helpful. The store has a decent variety of quality accessories also.On the other hand, online buying, customer support team, and returns policy is a joke though, and the latter has the unfair contact term of rejecting the return if item is not in the original package. The company and customer services sucks and even the employees know it well. Order your accessories from Amazon instead.
