We spontaneously walked in during an afternoon walk around Chelsea on a weekday - the restaurant was empty and we were seated right away. The atmosphere here is very cozy and chic (love the wallpaper!). The Sicilia pizza was quite delicious - you can tell than the quality of cheese they use is high.Their wine list is quite nice too. I enjoyed the red wine we ordered. The green salad (which is a side) is alright - there’s better choices on the menu, so I would skip this one next time.Service was fairly quick - they were patient while we took time making a choice. Considering the location, the prices seem ok, but overall it is a bit pricey - so probably won’t be a regular go-to for me.

**DON’T BOTHER**We went so you don’t have to.What an arrogant reception we received on our first (and definitely last) visit to this overrated pizzeria cashing in on the Chelsea locals who can’t be bothered to venture further afield for something decent.Where to start with this? Here’s what I liked:• Pretty external set up• Quite a nice atmosphereWhat I didn’t like:• Arrogant attitude from the bearded guy at reception. Was also rude to his colleague when she asked something simple. Short with us too. No need to be condescending to anyone but this Italian hit the mark and is bad for business.• Ridiculous price point. £12.50 for a below standard, small Margherita. £8.50 for a base marinara - essentially a bit of heavy dough with tomato sauce and a sprinkling of garlic slivers. Really?• Poor quality. They must think people are stupid. Well people are who rave about this.Let’s be frank - there is absolutely nothing special or even good about this pizza. It’s not Oliveto or Pizzeria Mozza level. Not even close.Do I recommend going? NOWill I go again? NOWas it good value? NOPrice point: $$

Amazing pizza restaurant facing out onto Chelsea Common. This restaurant is often packed, which is a testament to the quality of their pizzas. They also have a small and comfortable space, which is so inviting and appealing. They have great outdoor seating that looks onto a square (Chelsea Common) so it is ideal for meals when the weather is nice.

Cinquecento Pizzeria in London: A Taste of Authentic Italian Delights in ChelseaCinquecento, a charming Italian pizzeria nestled in the heart of Chelsea, London, offers a truly delightful dining experience. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by the warm and cozy ambiance that's quintessentially Italian. The restaurant is spread across two floors, with the upper floor sometimes being a bit on the noisy side. However, the decor throughout the establishment is simply delightful, setting the stage for a memorable meal. Now, let's talk about the star of the show: the food. Cinquecento doesn't limit itself to just pizzas; their pasta dishes are equally exceptional. The pizzas, in particular, are among the best in London. They boast the perfect rise and boast top-notch quality. The ingredients used in every dish carry that unmistakable Italian touch, transporting your taste buds straight to Italy. In summary, a visit to Cinquecento is always a great idea. Whether you're craving the perfect pizza or indulging in their delectable pasta, you're in for a treat. The cozy atmosphere, lovely decor, and the authentic Italian flavors make this pizzeria a must-visit spot in London for any food enthusiast

One of the best Italian place I had in London. Taste great, good portions, lovely outdoor sitting too. We’ll come again in the future.

I recently dined at this Italian pizzeria, and my experience was a bit of a mixed bag. Let me break it down:Pizza (4/5):The Margherita pizza was undoubtedly the highlight of the meal. The crust was perfectly thin and crispy, and the tomato sauce was deliciously tangy. However, it was a bit disappointing that it didn’t come with basil as it traditionally should. After we asked, they added a couple of basil leaves, which improved the taste significantly.Pasta (3/5):The pasta was okay, nothing to rave about. It lacked that homemade flavor I usually expect from Italian restaurants. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t exceptional either.Soup (2/5):Now, the soup was a letdown. It didn’t meet the standard I expected. It was rather bland, and I couldn’t quite identify the flavors they were aiming for. I wouldn’t recommend it.Service (3/5):The staff was friendly and accommodating, but it did seem like they were still getting the hang of things. I understand that new staff members can be a bit confused initially, so I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt here.In summary, the pizzeria has potential, especially with their pizza, but they need to work on consistency and improving the quality of their pasta and soup. The addition of basil to the Margherita pizza made a world of difference. I hope they can iron out the kinks in their service as they gain more experience.Overall, it’s worth a visit if you’re primarily interested in pizza, but I’d recommend managing your expectations when it comes to other menu items.

Really like this little italian place. One if the best rocket and goats cheese salad i had, seriously good. The service wasn’t consistent though. I liked the salad so much that i went 4 days in a row and each time service was very up and down. One time i asked to waiter to tell the chef to grill the cheese slightly more n it came back burnt! May be the chef got frustrated client asking for the little extra! But overall the food was really good. I would still go back to try other dishes.
