Norwich Men's Shed

An excellent charity that helps men to learn new skills, share their own with others and help to produce useful wooden and metal items. There's also a strong social element and new members are made very welcome.

They are a community based organisation. They have a fully functional forge and woodworking shop they are very friendly and have been able to cater for my needs.

A place where men18-75+ can use or develop practical shed based skills in a relaxed atmosphere eg carpentry woodturning furniture restoration or build your own projects all tools available for members to use (subject to initial competency training) come for a look around and if you like what you see sign up for an induction which happens every fortnight on a tues or weds taster sessions available courses available to sign up for. (A £5 per month min contribution goes towards the bills and pay as you go on materials temporary opening times atm

Couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery ?

Here you can meet other men to engage in craft activities in workshops. Upstairs on Tuesday afternoons you can meet other men socially and/or to play board games, etc. Simply call in for further information.Richard in Norwich.
