A great find on our walk back from the Chedworth Villa.Great good, cozy ambience and excellent service. We had wild mushroom and truffle mac n cheese and roast roe deer - both were delicious!

Brilliant to find this pub, great food and was very popular today. Deserves it's great rating. The fish and chips best we've had in Britain and the beef burger was unique and excellent.

We stopped by en route home and it was very much worth it. Great hospitality, delicious friend chicken, lovely juicy mussels and an amazing pie. Definitely worth the trip.

Lovely secluded old pub deep in the Cotswolds in the village of Chedworth. Three draft ales on when I visited including Otter ale. Didn't eat but the menu looked appetising and reasonable. It's on their web site.Friendly staff and three ghosts allegedly. An interesting building with plenty of heritage, and history given it is opposite the village church. Nice garden and seating area partially occupied by a marquee given the times we live in.An essential stopping off point on the circular walk 4 miles? which takes in the Chedworth Roman mosaics, the Midland and South West junction railway remains including tunnel portal and a former airfield. ( The section from Chedworth to the airfield is muddy all year so pub first!).Friendly if not rather nosey cat, who wants to know who's in his garden.

They were a bit short staffed on Sunday and not doing walk-ins ... but they managed anyway and the service was great. They were clearly making extra effort and we all had a great experience.Wonderful setting in their garden and the food was also lovely. Thank you!!

Wonderful late lunch at The Seven Tuns. Very good service and lovely food all round. Definitely one to visit again probably for a Sunday roast as the food on a Saturday was very enjoyable. Nice outside area and a lovely pub to park up and have a wander around the pretty village of Chedworth to work up an appetite.Update - stopped in for lunch after a lovely circular walk out to the Roman Villa and into the village. Beautiful area, beautiful pub and arguably one of the best pies in the entire history of humanity and that’s understating it. All made on the promises and jam-packed full of delicious venison.

It's really a 4.5 pushing a solid 5 star experience. The only issue was the salad my wife ordered. It was so fresh from the garden, that it still had some small soil deposits. Needed a second rinse. That was all. The atmosphere is amazingly rustic/modern. The staff are super friendly. Local beers only!My surprise was the straw in my drink, was not paper or plastic but was a STRAW" straw! When I inquired they said "something we have forgotten about." Meaning the straw wad originally straw. I was today years old when I learned this obvious fact. Brain blown by such a simple thing. Just use straw straws."

Plenty large enough car park for this idyllic cotswold country pub and restaurant. I was there with a largish group for a staff appreciation day out. 3 course meal was delicious and plentiful. Bathroom facilities were clean and tidy. Staff could not have done any more for us. Highly recommended.
