Local family friendly place excellent newly built play area in secure walled garden at the rear. Live Sports, real ale, good prices, celebrity led quiz every other Thursday, standard quiz on the opposite Thursday. Comfortable and Relaxed atmosphere

Fantastic venue for all your needs . This establishment is run with good management and a excellent staff. Go round the back it has a play area, a huge Marquee, when I say plenty of room I actually was amazed how big it was.

In here yesterday for a quick half. It's a great pub, nice clean interior, beer garden and small kids play area at the back and a lovely pint of Guinness. Probably the best pub on Picton rd.

It was absolutely freezing in the pub and the staff refused to put the heating on. It was warmer outside all the customers were complaining but the girl who was serving took no notice as she was to busy talking to her friends on her phone even while serving

Perfectly nice pub. Bit dead when I went in, but that was a Monday night so I wasn't expecting it to be rocking . Would recommend to a slightly older crowd.

Food was fast and easy to order, everything was fine until when it came to the bill there was a bit of a hiccup. Although there was only 10 of us, 5 of them were students and 1 child. It wasn't that difficult to work out but it was a took a while. First they charged us the weekend rate, mistakes happened that not a problem but the manager refuse to refund the difference plus they charged us 10% service. All in all it was just a big mess up.
