Mariyam did my makeup and hair for two of my sister’s wedding events. She made me feel really comfortable and is really understanding. She did an amazing job with my hair and makeup! Would definitely recommend.

I booked Mariyam the make-up artist for my wife and family. She was very kind and gave advice on what looks they should go for keeping in mind their ideas. My wife loves her makeup and hair aswell as everybody else. Mariyam was always available to chat if we had any queries and advice. We really reccomend her to everyone. I booked Mariyam for my bridal hair and makeup. She was very professional and friendly throughout the whole process, with great communication. I contacted Mariyam as I wanted to have my make up done professionally and have my hijab set with a tikka. It was for a family wedding (a pretty lavish affair in London with lots of family members who I hadn't seen since before covid lockdown!) I didn't want a heavy look as I wear a hijab and my outfit was a black pleated dress with delicate silver accessories. Mariyam made me feel at ease from the moment I spoke to her on the phone. She gave me great advice on hijab material, a look that would very suit the occasion and she really went out of her way to make me feel special. I have 3 young kids, so my full attention was with getting them ready, as mums do, so it was so nice to have someone focus on me for a couple of hours and I was pampered! Mariyam explained what she was trying to achieve when building my foundation base, my eyes and lips. She showed me my look step by step in the mirror to make sure I was happy and comfortable as I was a little anxious about not going too glam! I wanted to enhance my features which I feel are already quite bold. I didn't feel I could carry off too much. Mariyam came up with a look for me that worked perfectly for the occasion. My look lasted all day from 11am until midnight. I didn't even need to refresh my lipstick! My make up didnt crack at all, as Mariyam checked prior to applying where my face creased, for example when smiling. The products used were of high quality. Make Up brushes were clean and soft and it was evident that Mariyam pays huge importance to hygiene. She has a wide range of products too- so plenty of choice catering for different looks and occasions. I would describe Mariyam as a perfectionist if I'm completely honest! She made sure everything was perfect for me especially with my hijab. Every pleat was done with care using additional pins and improvising with my scarf as it was longer than the standard chiffon ones. Mariyam was so kind and sweet as a person. Very professional and organised, but most of all she appeared caring and that's something that made her unique. It was important to her that I felt happy. I would highly recommend Mariyam. I'd especially recommend her for those women who wear the hijab and want a clean and classy look that won't budge no matter what material you choose! Me and my mother booked Mariyam for our hair and makeup for a pre wedding (jago) party! She made the entire experience very easy and comfortable and catered to each look to what we wanted. I would highly recommend!

I absolutely loved my hair by Maryam. She did a brill job and ensured I had all the right tools before my booking and really took her time to ensured I was happy with my hair. Had a lot of compliments and stayed in place all day! Definitely recommend!! :)

We was so relieved to have found someone with literally 2 days notice. Mariyam was accommodating, her time schedule was great. And most of all she went above and beyond to make sure we are all happy. Really loved how mariyam did my hair and makeup for a family wedding. My face is very hard to do as I don’t usually suit heavy makeup but she did such a great job I got loads of compliments on the day and it was one of my favourite looks I’ve ever done.
