Diversity Swim School

We have been so impressed with this swim school. From the start they understood that our daughter had some anxiety issues so were very responsive to my additional questions, they praised her and provided lovely feedback. Our daughter has come on leaps and bounds with her swimming. She has enjoyed it so much that she begged us to book her in for another crash course! The small class sizes, understanding, responsive, patient swim teachers, fab feedback are what makes this Swim School a stand out option. The added bonus is meeting lots of likeminded parents, there is a real community feel to this particular swim school and I am very glad we found it. I highly recommend!

If only could give more then 5 stars, mind you there would never be enough stars to rate this swim school. We have only been coming for a few weeks but the improvement in my son who was so anxious is incredible, feel so happy that he feels so safe with Laura and her natural ability of calm and fun has allowed him to enjoy swimming.We have hard the joy of Laura previously, and my daughter has always spoken about her (gone on and on in fact) and how she hopes she will swim with her again, she got her wish. After all Laura gave Emilie, a stubborn girl, the confidence to not only put face in water but to swim underwater . Now I think that when a child remembers a teacher that says it all.The pool at rochford pool is beautiful, and is set out for all abilities, hidden and seen disabilities.We've only had Laura, but I've seen Toni teach and interact when we have had our lesson and she also has a clear passion and has a welcoming and calming way.So happy to have the pleasure of having diversity as my kids development in one of the key life skills.Highly recommended this school.Thank you Diversity for all you do and what you stand for x

My children have tried a variety of swim schools over the years. They are both quite nervous for different reasons but Laura and Toni have really made them feel at ease. They've loved the focused lessons and we have signed up for more during term time too now. I'm really proud of how far they've come in a couple of weeks and this shows how great Diversity Swim School are. Have already recommended a couple of friends and will continue to do so! I started taking my Granddaughter Chloe who has Autism and global development delay to Diversity Swim School a few weeks ago. I was very sceptical at first as she doesn't usually feel comfortable with new people. When we attend the first session, Brad was absolutely amazing with her, he was not only calm but he was so patience and she seemed to relaxed with him straight away. I'm so pleased that I decided to go to this swim School. I would highly recommend this Swim School to anyone who has ASD. Thank you Brad for all you do.

Laura has been amazing. We decided to start swimming lessons for our daughter to try and boost her confidence to blow bubbles in the water/do anything to get her face/hair wet as we could not convince her ourselves. We signed her up to Laura's lessons which sadly had to be postponed until July due to lockdown. Since the lessons have started back up, Laura and her team have been nothing but accommodating to ensure the 6 lessons we had already paid for were adhered to (which even meant adding our younger son free of charge to the class for 2 weeks to compensate for us being away for 2 weeks of lessons in August).Diversity run competitions regularly to try and ensure all people have access to swimming lessons, despite their lessons already being one of the cheapest I have found locally! Despite COVID guidelines being as restrictive as they are with regards to class sizes, these competitions are still being conducted! We were fortunate to win a crash course of 5 consecutive lessons in a week and we have seen such an incredible boost of confidence in our daughter. We decided to pay for our son to join the same lessons (his first ever set of swimming lessons) who is 2 years younger. Laura adapted her teaching style to ensure that all the pupils in the group were gaining something from the lesson despite having a group of 2 VERY different abilities.Since lockdown the pool has constantly been clean and well organised and run. There has been pool side assistants ready to get into the pool to support the lessons when necessary and I really can't fault them at all.Thanks for all that you are doing Diversity! We look forward to more lessons for our kids with you!

Would 1000% recommend laura and her team at diversity swim school!Laura is such a nurturing individual who has so much knowledge and first hand experienced when it comes to both children and adults with special needs and to teach them such an important life skill, she is a diamond!

We recently attended a crash course run by Toni. What a fantastic teacher. So friendly and patient. I have always had to fight my kids to get them to have lessons but they kept asking when they could go back. We liked it so much we have booked another weeks crash course and regular lessons from September x

My son has had two weeks worth of crash course swimming lessons. He has improved vastly in these two weeks so much so that we have chosen Diversity swim school for weekly lesson for not only him but his two younger siblings. My son has learning difficulties but all the instructors were very patient with him and explained multiple times if he didn't understand what they had meant. I would recommend this swim school to all my family and friends.

This is a beautiful pool hosted by the professional , friendly and down to earth Laura Evans. My daughter and I loved her from the start, she made my daughter feel welcome and at ease. Laura is obviously very knowledgeable with what she does and is excellent with the kids. So glad we found her. Highly recommend this place to everyone.

My son has been attending for a while now. He's made incredible progress with both his ability and confidence. Brad has endless patience and an innate ability to really connect with the kids he teaches. Absolutely brilliant.
