Dinas Rock Car Park

Good size car park with access to walks. Free to park. Get there early as it gets really busy towards midday.

Small but does the job. Easy access to a path leading to the waterfalls

Great car park go up the side if the rock and around you come to a lovely waterfall to photograph.

Free parking. Different trails and walks to go on, there's a few maps to look at to explore the area. Can walk to the waterfalls but would be quite a way.Usually groups of children and people doing rock climbing and abseiling activities there.Narrow bridge and turning to get into car park. No toilets

Lovely river walk with waterfall scenery. Very accessible compared to the other waterfall walks nearby. Car park is directly next to the walk, and has a couple of picnic benches...which we made full use of for lunch :-)

Great access to a good walk. You need to be careful with the narrow stone bridge to get to it in your car as it's really easy to scrape it if you aren't careful. Otherwise it's your standard gravel carpark. Usually fairly empty as well.

This car park can get very full (so won't get a space) and has gates that if closed you can be trapped by (note there is a way around the gates with iron blockers on the floor that allow exit but not entry, although I would not trust my car to them). Access is by a very narrow stone bridge that some vehicles just won't make. Campers are not allowed and anyway just won't make the bridge (and can be gated in) and locals and wardens do check the area. Saw one camper turning around and heading off when they saw the bridge... waste of time for them.There is a path up to the falls but the first, Sgwd Eira, is a couple of hours away for good walkers. The first part of this path is very steep, very rocky, narrow and has significant drops to the left as one ascends. It is just as bad coming down. In short, it is rather dangerous. The way back to your car is by return path unless you can work out the vast loop back, which will essentially take you all day. Encountered a few people terminally lost, not even sure where they had parked their car!There are, on occasion, portaloos placed in the car park, but they get very dirty and become unusable (unless you don't mind stink and filth).Avoid....there is better access to the falls around Ystradfellte.

Fantastic little car park, however not the best car park to use to visit all the waterfalls. If only visiting Sgwd ye Eira, remember there is no circular walk, when getting to the waterfall you have to walk back the way you came!!

Plenty of space in this car park. Could easily hold about 40 cars. There are a number of nice walking trials from here that allow you to explore some of the waterfalls nearby. The car park does close at 5pm and you need to have left by this time.
